Roy A. Tangen Photographer
editRoy started in photography at an early age, he was first published in the New York Daily News at 14 years old. He was a "stringer" for many years through High School (George Westinghouse) in New York City and worked full time for the Brooklyn Eagle at 16 years old as a staff photographer. In 1965 he became a Navy Photographer and photographed everything from portraits to plane crashes and recon in Nam.
Roy attended and graduated the following photographic schools;

Over the years he attended specialty sessions/courses/lectures from;
Ansel Adams, Philippe Halsman, Dean Collins, Vincent Steilber, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Jay Maisel, Pete Turner.
