The Technoturtles (1846) are an FLL team, based in Giv'at Olga, Hadera, Israel.

They competed in the First Lego League Hydrodynamics (2017-2018) and are now competing in the Into Orbit Season (2018-2019).

Name

The word 'Techno' came from Technoda, which is a science center in Hadera, which runs 5 FLL teams (1846, 1491, 1113, 1911 and 977) Including the Technoturtles. The word Turtles is inspired by team Technomonkeys (1491), which have chosen an animal after the word 'Techno'. All the teams in the Technoda are starting with 'Techno'.

The Robot

Etymology

Every year, the robot gets a different name, with its attachments. In the previous season, the robot was called Ktantanim (Hebrew for 'Minuscules'). The attachments were called as the missions themselves (for example: Filter, Slingshot). This year, the names are based on characters from Harry Potter (for example: Norbert, Picket). The rumors say that in the next year, the robot will be called C-3PO, and the theme will be about Star Wars.

Performance

The robot is expected to make 200 points, with a maximum of 237.

The robot makes 4 runs, With Norbert, Picket, Buckbeak and Aragog.

The Research

The scientific solves the problem of SAS (Space Adaptation Syndrome), with a gadget for the ear. All the other information is unknown.
