Soulvision is an international song competition where countries battle it out to bring the trophy home. Any country in Europe can take part and any other notable countries invited by the SBC - Soul Broadcast Committee Located in Ireland.
For Edition 01, 44 Countries are in competition to take home the trophy (
Venezuela was meant to participate however had to withdraw as they did not pick an entry in time, similarly 
Belarus was meant to take part but withdrew before their NF started for unspecified reasons)
Ireland is hosting the first edition in Dublin in the 3Arena, The United Kingdom has helped RTÉ fund the competition via the BBC
Ireland, United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, France and Colombia all automatically qualify to the final and they vote in whichever semi final they were allocated to
SF1: Ireland, United Kingdom and Sweden
SF2: Italy, France and Colombia
This was decided during the draws for the semi final where each country were allocated to the first or second half of the semi which would late be the choice for the running order made by the producers
