- This article has some interesting information about the rise of American soup kitchens in the 1930s, which is the time period I'm researching. It discusses how the Great Depression increased the need for soup kitchens as many people could not afford food. The article also discusses how the modern soup kitchen originated in the 1790s and how soup kitchens in the 21st century operate.

Option 5

- Discrimination against homeless people
- Article Evaluation
- This article is very short and has many issues. There is not much information on anti-homelessness legislation or social stigma against people who are homeless. I also think that a section on the history of homelessness and people's attitudes towards it throughout history would be helpful.
