White supremacy is defined as "the belief that white people are superior to those of all other races, especially the black race, and should therefore dominate society."

Critical race theory

White supremacy is analyzed in Omi and Winant's Racial Formations^[1]. It is also used conceptually in critical ethnic studies and queer of color critique.
