Tropical Ecology
The article provides a decent paragraph for the origins of tropical ecology, and it seems that most of the information in the citations is for this section. I think more information could be added to this page, including additional information to the "significance of ecology in the tropics" section. I am currently taking a tropical ecology class, and we talk about this subject a lot. The article is pretty short, so I think there can be a lot of additional information added. I could find more information about the importance of ecology, and also different ecological patterns that we see in the tropics. More information could be provided for species that we see in the tropics.
This article has four external sources, and it does not have a references section beyond that. I could find information in peer reviewed articles to add to this article.

Insect Ecology
This article does provide more information than the first article that I looked at. The articles explains what insect ecology is, and then it talks about the community structure with sections called "herbivores", "carnivores", and "decomposers". I think more detailed information can be added to this article, and an "importance" section could be added. With "insect ecology" being so general, I think that so much more information could be added to possibly include anatomy, more feeding behaviors, and other behavioral information.
This article does have eight references in the reference section. Some of them seem to be peer reviewed articles or books. They all are from 2010 or 2017, so I think that more recent information can be added to the list.

Stream
This article gives a wider range of information compared to the other two articles to me, however I think it could use some more detail. It has a terminology section, which I think is a interesting section to include, but it could include more words to me. I think that more examples can be added to the article, because they very generally bring up a few places with streams, including north america and the UK. It would be beneficial to include more information about the types of organisms found in streams in different areas of the world. There could also be an "importance" section added to this page as well.
This article has 34 references, and many of them seem to be related to finding each definition of the words in the terminology section. More references with background and specific information can be added to the references. More peer reviewed articles about the ecology of Streams would be helpful.
