Visa policy of Hong Kong

Hi, in Visa policy of Hong Kong, it cited this web page[1], which said:

3.No visa or entry permit is required for any purpose if you hold any of the following travel documents:

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passport,

Hong Kong Re-entry permit (for entry from the Mainland of China and the Macao Special Administrative Region only),

Hong Kong Seaman's Identity Book,

Hong Kong Document of Identity for Visa Purposes provided that the document is valid or the holder's limit of stay in Hong Kong has not expired.

Travel documents bearing one of the following endorsements:

"Holder's eligibility for Hong Kong permanent identity card verified."

"The holder of this travel document has the right to land in Hong Kong. (Section 2AAA, Immigration Ordinance, Cap. 115, Laws of Hong Kong)"

Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card.

It does not include British National (Overseas) passport nor Hong Kong Certificate of Identity. So what's wrong for me to delete them?--203.218.141.177 (talk) 03:48, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Capsulecap. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Anarchyte (talkwork) 07:46, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

Prep set

Hi! I noticed you're actively building prep sets; I am also, but before I was, I was involved in the nominating process, and I think that might slow down the promotion of some hooks. You don't need to prefer any of them, obviously, but would you keep in mind these hooks?

Thanks so much theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 06:27, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

I suppose I'd be remiss if I didn't also plug the hooks I nominated, Template:Did you know nominations/Julie Schmit-Albin and Template:Did you know nominations/Joni Albrecht. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 06:43, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
If I understand what you're saying User:Theleekycauldron, you want me to make sure that these get into prep queues quickly. I'll make sure that those articles don't get ignored for over a month like some of the nominated articles. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 21:47, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
@Capsulecap: Thanks so much—It's just that we're running a shortage on U.S. hooks outside of the latter two reviews and the two nominations, and it's making it harder for me to fill prep sets, because of the conflict of interest. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 22:33, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

DYK promotion problem

Your erroneous promotion created a problem. The hook was clearly a double nomination, as seen on the nom page, until you converted it into a single. Please don't promote any more multiple nominations until you understand how they work. The hook spent over five hours on the Main Page before Kingoflettuce's report of the issue to WP:ERRORS was finally acted on, and an admin made the second article bold again. The comment you left with the {{DYKmake}} was absolutely useless – who would ever see that, except for someone like me investigating how this happened? If you ever want to leave a comment for somebody – hopefully not for doing something like this again – you should do it in your edit summary and include a link to the user so they'll get a notification and actually see it. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 07:23, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

Well... oops, I'll try to make sure that I don't do that again. I somehow didn't believe that a double nomination was fair, so I converted it into a single. Thanks! Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 20:16, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

DYK for William Trench, 5th Earl of Clancarty

On 31 August 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article William Trench, 5th Earl of Clancarty, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that William Trench, 5th Earl of Clancarty, had three children who also became earls of Clancarty? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/William Trench, 5th Earl of Clancarty. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, William Trench, 5th Earl of Clancarty), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Dear Capsulecap,

Thank you for volunteering as a Host at the Teahouse. Wikipedia is a community of people working together to make knowledge free. You are an important part of that effort! By joining as a Host, and by following our expectations, you are helping new users to get started here at Wikipedia, and aiding more experienced users who just have a question about how something works. We appreciate your willingness to help!

Here are some links you may find helpful as a Host:

Editors who have signed up as hosts, but who have not contributed at the Teahouse for six months or so may be removed from the list of hosts.

I notice that you added yourself to our 'host' list some while ago, but haven't had a chance to help out much yet. That's fine. But be aware that we do remove inactive hosts from time to time.

Question from Monika.P IQA (08:16, 30 March 2022)

how to skip this edit section and jump to create my own company page on wikipedia?

please guide --Monika.P IQA (talk) 08:16, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Unfortunately, you cannot create an article about your company yourself on Wikipedia, as it would be considered as conflict of interest editing. Additionally, you will need 10 edits and have a Wikipedia account that is at least three days old to create an article yourself. In order to create an article on your company in a way that is not conflict of interest, you must:
  • Disclose your relations to your company on your user page, in this case User:Monika.P IQA. You can create user page articles without having 10 edits and a three day old account, unlike articles in the main space.
  • Go to Wikipedia:Requested articles and find a category to list your request in.
  • Describe the most important points of your company in just a few sentences. Don't use words that make your company seem good, such as best and great, as this is a positive point of view and on Wikipedia, we must have a neutral point of view. Make sure to mention that you are affiliated with your company in the request.
  • This step is important. Find a few sources for your planned Wikipedia page. They should be independent (unaffiliated with your company) and reliable (trustable). Link to them in your request. As the definition of a reliable source can be confusing to many, you may want to read the first few sections of Wikipedia:Reliable sources.
Cheers! I wish you good luck with your company page. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 14:11, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Question from Yeloc1110 (02:17, 12 February 2023)

Hi there! I keep trying to add a note to a plot, and it keeps getting undone. I have tried to include it a few different ways. This last time I also explained the logic behind this edit, and it was just 1 small inclusion. Literally just trying to add 1 small note that is widely accepted across the world. Not sure how to resolve, since the person just undid my edit and did not respond to my talk. My question is how to have my descriptor validated and not instantly removed by this user every time. Thank you! --Yeloc1110 (talk) 02:17, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

Question from Manateeman42 (11:28, 16 February 2023)

I'm 80 yrs. old, & can't figure how to look up articles (which is all I want to do). It's got to be simple. Can you help me, please? --Manateeman42 (talk) 11:28, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

At the top center of the screen, you should be able to see a "search bar." Click on that and then write in what you want to look up. Then you just need to press the Enter key. You should either be taken to a corresponding page or, if your search does not have an exact result, a search page where you see results similar to what you looked up. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 13:28, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
By the way, it should say "Search Wikipedia" if nothing has been written into it. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 13:29, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

You can draft an article at Articles for Creation and submit it when it is ready. Your article will be published if its topic is notable, it is properly referenced, and it complies with our policy on biographies of living people. Alternatively, you can write an article without going through the drafting process when your account is four days old and has 10 edits. Capsulecap (talkcontribs) 22:40, 8 June 2023 (UTC)

Question from RoseManGlenn (14:17, 25 June 2023)

My father Albert Halila (Herbert Halila) won the Men's 440 Meter Race in the 1954 Asian Olympics in Manila Philippines! He won the Gold Medal! His name needs to be added to this. He represented the Philippines and he was Congratulated by Mr. Manual (Mapua Institute Of Technology-the other MIT- LOL) He pinned the Gold Medal on my Dad, shook his hand while Congratulating him and Gave him a full ride Scholarship (provided that he play Soccer for them, of which he was a star forward). Please let me know if you could add this to the list of Gold Medals. Thanks --RoseManGlenn (talk) 14:17, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

Question from RoseManGlenn on 1954 Asian Games (23:23, 2 July 2023)

My father ran the 800 meter Race in the Asian Olympics in 1954. He was in College playing soccer for Mapua Institute of Technology. He came in 2nd and took the Bronz Medal representing the Philippines! He was born and raised in Manila Philippines 1934. He was 20 years old. I made a mistake. When I asked the Editor to post that he won in the 400 or 440. He actually won 3 Gold medals when he was 18 years old. At another Big National Race Albert Halila he was given a scholarship by Mr. Manual. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at. 513-344-6242 Glenn Halila. I just spoke to my Dad today about this! --RoseManGlenn (talk) 23:23, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
