Some advice

edit

Hi Curious Moon Design, welcome to Wikipedia. I took a look at your draft again this morning and added some more sources for you. I wanted to offer you some advice on developing it further. Encyclopedia articles are a little different - the article should describe in a very deadpan and neutral way the origins of junk journaling, how its done (without including how-to guide type content) and any kind of social analysis applicable to the topic. The idea is we're very much "uncreative writers" around here - we just want to state the facts without any editorializing or stylistic prose. The article Scrapbooking is pretty decent, maybe give that a read. If you wanted to provide how-to style content as well, we actually do have a place for that at Wikibooks. Take a look at the article Pinewood derby, and scroll down to "External links". You'll find a delightful guide on how to build a pinewood derby car over at Wikibooks. I'd say it would make sense to do something similar for junk journalling, if that's the direction you wanted to go. Please let me know if you have any questions or need a hand with anything. All the best, MediaKyle (talk) 11:50, 23 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, thank you so much again. I will keep working on it. I do feel it needs to be seen on wikipedia as so many try searching for it. I will look at the other external links you have provided and carry on carrying on! Thank you Curious Moon Design (talk) 12:12, 23 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
