Thanks

... for creating articles about lichen substances! I noticed you've already created two articles from my compilation of highly-linked but currently redlinked articles under the lichen task force's purview. If you're interested in making more, I've compiled a list that includes many lichen substances here that might pique your interest. Cheers, Esculenta (talk) 01:15, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

In general, I'm interested in creating chemistry articles that are highly redlinked. I'll definitely create some more from your list. How did you do your "redlink analysis"? Is there a some kind of tool for that, or did you do it manually? Innerstream (talk) 13:58, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
I had ChatGPT write for me a Python script to go through categories I specified, tabulate the redlinks it saw in each article in the category, and report them back to me. My "programming ability" has improved significantly in the past couple of years, if you know what I mean :) Esculenta (talk) 16:36, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Tetrahydroisoquinoline structure images

edit

Hey Innerstream. Thanks for uploading the structures for the tetrahydroisoquinolines! I was wondering if you could replace the existing structure images for pellotine and lophophorine as well? They could be simplified and nicer-looking. Also I believe that anhalonine, salsolidine, peyotine, and gigantine (as well as pellotine for that matter) should all be the racemates rather than enantiomers and I think should have their structure images updated too. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 00:21, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Have created a new family page for all of these compounds here. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 05:41, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
@AlyInWikiWonderland: Thanks for creating all the articles in the first place! I can hardly keep up with you.  :) I've created racemic versions as you've suggested and added them to the articles. Please let me know if there are other images you would like me to create and I'd be happy to help out. Innerstream (talk) 14:13, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much! I'm just glad you're pleased with the new content rather than annoyed about having to generate so many new structure images haha. I've added many more compounds to the substituted tetrahydroisoquinolines page. But it'd be way too many structures for you to have to generate, so don't worry about those if you're not up for it. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 06:58, 22 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hey Innerstream. Thank you so much for uploading all those THIQ structures, that's awesome! It's really nice to be able to look at that page and see every single structure.
If you're interested or up for it, I looked around and there are some more missing ones at these pages:
- Lysergamides § Related compounds -- dosergoside, proteguride, etisulergine
- DOx § List of DOx drugs -- MMALM, MALM, MFEM, MDFEM, MTFEM, MIPM
No pressure or rush, but they're there if you'd like to do them. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 20:17, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Sure, I can do those too. Innerstream (talk) 13:03, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

2D structure of 3-Methyl-GABA

edit

Hi Innerstream. Thanks for creating the 2D svg of this molecule, but I think that you've put the methyl group on the 4 carbon rather than the 3. I think this structure is 4-Aminopentanoic acid. Grantus4504 (talk) 07:21, 27 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

You're right, thanks for catching the mistake. I have now corrected the image. Innerstream (talk) 18:54, 27 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Cellobiose

edit

Hi, I just noticed that you've updated cellobiose.svg, but the original and updated version doesn't match. For example the C-O-C bond between the two rings became C-O-C-C. Could you fix it please? - UltimateChance (talk) 13:09, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

I have fixed it. Thanks for catching the mistake. Innerstream (talk) 13:58, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. - UltimateChance (talk) 14:08, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi!

Thanks for adding pictures to my chemical articles! Pls create a pic for Trisulfuryl fluoride.

Best regards, Lamro (talk) 19:32, 25 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for creating the articles in first place! That's the hard part. I'm happy to help out in my little way. I have now added a chemical structure image to trisulfuryl fluoride. Please feel free to let me know if there are any other images that you would like me to create. Innerstream (talk) 17:58, 26 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
