Thank you for your swift reply,
I did think it would be excepted but I tried anyway. I am currently advocating for a new language version for Wikipedia. Thank you and sorry if I have wasted your time KeyolTranslater (talk) 19:31, 14 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Trinidadian French-Creole moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Trinidadian French-Creole. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Dclemens1971 (talk) 18:36, 15 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

What will I need to establish notability, it is decently well known in Trinidad (If you want I can link multiple channels that cover the language and the culture of French-Creole-Trinidad), multiple singers also used the language and some words still remain. On the Antillean Creole wikipedia page it mentions Trinidadian french creole, which is the only creole (except the obscure San-Miguel Creole) that doesn't have a proper page on wikipedia and I thought that it would be right to give this dying language some recognition. Thank you for your help. KeyolTranslater (talk) 19:20, 15 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Trinidad and Tobago shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. So video archives are not allowed? I can probably find some videos on different websites, would that be allowed? KeyolTranslater (talk) 08:15, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Also I am not trying to go against the rules but I do believe these YouTube sources to be genuine, KatVixenchick is run by a professor and Myrote is run by an author who wrote a book of the same name. I do understand that checks need to made to YouTube sources and blogs however I do believe that the sources I have found are genuine KeyolTranslater (talk) 08:27, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
