Hi. Please see this message on your old account's talk. I've reverted your out of process move to mainspace as an experienced reviewer had previously declined it (and with good reason: it has no good sources at all). This has the appearance of attempting to end run AfC and should be avoided. FYI User:Primefac. Many thanks. —Fortuna, imperatrix 12:24, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
Anaya
Recently, you have nominated for deletion Anaya, with the basis of "Too short". 6 persons (including me) have said that that was not a reasonable argument. I suggest you reading WP:GEOLAND. Earth605 (talk) 06:21, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
You misunderstood the username policy and gave an inappropriate warning. Then, you archived the whole thread including my response before InekeCrezee could possibly have read what I wrote. That is inappropriate too. Please be more careful. Cullen328 (talk) 17:17, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry. I read at over 400 wpm so I archive topics on my talk almost instantly. Starfall2015 let's talk profile 17:19, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Nobody cares how fast you read. The issue here is that you archived a thread on another editor's talk page, not your own. Do not do that.
- Quality is more important than speed. Keep that in mind. Cullen328 (talk) 17:25, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- I accidentally sent a Uw-coi-username and then I experienced the onosecond, where I went "oh no... ...I need to delete that ASAP" but i didn't have time. Starfall2015 let's talk profile 17:31, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

Suggestion
Hello, Starfall2015,
While I appreciate your eagerness to help, I don't think an editor with your limited editing experience should be giving out advice on the Administrators' Noticeboard. Editors come to AN seeking help from administrators and you have only been editing for 3 months so you might not have the background necessary to offer the advice they are seeking. At best, you should advise them to seek answers at the Teahouse where there might also be some more experienced editors and administrators that would have relevant experience.
I encourage you to continue contributing, especially on improving articles, and keep learning about Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Talk! 23:45, 5 July 2025 (UTC)
Administrators' newsletter – July 2025
News and updates for administrators from the past month (June 2025).
Interface administrator changes
- Following a talk page discussion, speedy deletion criterion G13 has been amended to remove "Userspace with no content except the article wizard placeholder text."
- WP:Manual of Style/Superscripts and subscripts was upgraded to a guideline following a RfC discussion.
- The 2025 Developing Countries WikiContest will run from 1 July to 30 September. Sign up now!
- Administrator elections will take place this month. Administrator elections are an alternative to RFA that is a gentler process for candidates due to secret voting and multiple people running together. The call for candidates is July 9–15, the discussion phase is July 18–22, and the voting phase is July 23–29. Get ready to submit your candidacy, or (with their consent) to nominate a talented candidate!
Khuthadzo Lunsford Mudau moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Khuthadzo Lunsford Mudau. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 12:53, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Please do not move unsuitable articles from draft
I noticed that you deleted the conflict of interest statement and moved Draft:Khuthadzo Lunsford Mudau from draft space. This is not the first article you have incorrectly moved. Also, deleting the COI statement is wrong. Please read WP:N to understand what articles need to be accepted.
In general, you are trying to do things (e.g., UAA) before you understand the rules here Please familiarize yourself with policy before trying something new. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 16:13, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Article Recticel in Dutch - creation of new language: English
I tried to create a new language for an existing article in Dutch about RECTICEL. I see my translation has been declined. Can you explain how I should create a derived language article? Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 09:11, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Ingrid Van Paemel I haven't done anything, but I am an extended confirmed user so I might be able to help. Can you give me some more info please? Starfall2015 let's talk profile 09:17, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your interest. I have an existing page in Dutch: Recticel - Wikipedia
- I now want to create a derived language page: in English.
- In the Dutch version, I have clicked "+ add language" from Dutch to English and I have manually introduced the English text. Then I published it, but that was not accepted.
- What is the right procedure to create a page in a new language? Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 09:25, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- I'll move your user page to mainspace, just if it gets deleted, you might need to work on it. Sorry that I speedy deleted it. Starfall2015 let's talk profile 09:27, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Perfect, I see the page in the English wikipedia. Can you link both pages? I mean when you are in the English version, next to the page name, there should be an indication "2 languages" which makes it easy to switch from one language to another. thanks Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 09:34, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- English: Recticel
- Dutch: nl:Recticel
- Did that help? Starfall2015 let's talk profile 09:41, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Languages are not linked yet, I would prefer to be able to switch from one language to the other, without having to go from the Dutch wikipedia to the English wikipedia to find both articles Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 09:49, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- It almost got speedy deleted, so I replaced it with a tag. Starfall2015 let's talk profile 10:06, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Can you explain what a tag exactly means in this context? I see that the Dutch page is now linked to a German page which I have deleted earlier today because the content is not at all relevant any more. Is it possible to stop de link to the German translation and to add the English one? Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 10:38, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

maintenance tag. Starfall2015 let's talk profile 10:46, 10 July 2025 (UTC)- What should I do to get this tag removed? 80% of the page is about the history of the company, starting in 1778. Rest is about its activities and the fact that the company is on the Belgian stock exchange. I do not see the promotional character of the page. Ingrid Van Paemel (talk) 10:50, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Starfall2015 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
