Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Goldcast
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Goldcast, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Hi, I noticed you previously deleted Draft:Goldcast for G11. I’ve completely rewritten the article to address the concerns. It’s now neutral, fact-based, and fully sourced. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I've resubmitted this new version. TKPRcomms (talk) 13:49, 25 July 2025 (UTC)

edit Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TKPRcomms", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it represents a role, not an individual. Wikipedia's policy states that accounts must be held by individuals, and since roles within organizations can be held by different persons at different times, accounts tied to a role are seen as implying shared use. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --Ahecht (TALK

- Hi Ahecht,
- Thank you for the note and the clarification. I understand the username policy and the concern about role-based names implying shared use. This account is managed solely by me (an individual editor), and not shared with anyone else.
- That said, I want to follow Wikipedia’s guidelines, so I’ll submit a request to change the username to something that better reflects an individual account. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
