Jervis Bay Tree Frog, Litoria jervisiensis

Litoria jervisiensis, commonly known as the Jervis Bay Tree Frog or Curry Frog in reference to the odour this frog produces, is a species of frog associated with Wallum Swampland along the east coast ofNSW; ranging from the QLD boarder to eastern Vic.

Physical description

This is a moderately large species of tree frog, up to 55mm in length. It is normally brown in dorsal colour and has a large double band on the back starting from between the eyes and down to the vent, this band may be indistinct in somes speciemens. It has a dark band starting at the snout and ending at the base of the arms. The armpits are coloured yellow and the thighs red-orange. The iris is golden-brown in colour. Toe discs are large and the toes are webbed.

Ecology, behaviour and Habitat

This species of frog is strongly associated with coastal swamps, particulary wallum swampland. Males call in the cooler months, normally after rain. The call is a three noted weep-weep-weep. Breeding tends to take place in larger, permanent water-bodies.

Until 1994 this species was believed to be the same as the Heath Frog, Litoria littlejohni. The Heath Frog is larger in size and has orange instead of yellow in the armpits.

GNOME Commander is fast and powerful graphical orthodox file manager for GNOME and other desktops in the *nix world, similar to Midnight Commander (Linux) or Total Commander (Windows). User interface

GNOME Commander's user interface is based on the orthodox file manager (OFM) principle, also known as Commander-like file managers, are the family of file managers based on the old Norton Commander interface. The orthodox file manager has two windows called panels where one is active and the other inactive. The idea is to manipulate files from active to inactive panel or within active panel. Only the keyboard is required to do this, which makes the process much faster. Using the mouse is still an option.

GNOME Commander is primarily developed for the Linux platform, but it is available for some other platforms. These include BSD and Windows.

Sampaio Corrêa Futebol Clube is a Brazilian football (soccer) club usually known as Sampaio Corrêa. The club was founded on March 25, 1923, in São Luís, Maranhão state. Its home matches are usually played at Castelão stadium. It is named after a seaplane called Sampaio Corrêa II, which visited the city of São Luís on December 12, 1922.

The club's colors are yellow, green and red.

Sampaio Corrêa's nickname is Bolivianos (Bolivians) because its colors are similar to the Bolivian ones.

Sampaio Corrêa won the Campeonato Maranhense in 1930, 1933, 1934, 1940, 1942, 1953, 1954, 1956, 1961, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1972, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 2002 and 2003. The club has also won the Campeonato Brasileiro Second Division in 1972, Campeonato Brasileiro Third Division in 1997 and the Copa Norte in 1998.

The Canon Powershot A70 is the predecessor to the Canon A75.

Servicing

Some users choose, in some cases, to service the A70 themselves. This may be the user's choice if, for example, the camera displays an 'E18' error message and is no longer in warranty. The 'E18' error message indicates a problem with the lens assembly.

A useful site with pictures showing the steps is dismantling the A70 - to the point at which the lens assembly can be reached - is the Bulgarian-language http://menthol.hit.bg/E18.html. As an English-language supplement to this site, the following is worth mentioning:

After removal of all screws securing the Rear Cover Unit (as identified in Canon's Parts Catalog for the A70), the cover may still be difficult to remove as it may seem to be 'stuck' along the top edge from the flash to the mode dial. Some users have found that this resistance is due to the presence of small lugs moulded into the front and rear covers along this edge, and that it is overcome by lifting the bottom edge of the rear cover away from the camera body - effectively using the top edge as if it were a (stuck) hinge - until the cover eventually pops off. Users may also then find that double-sided tape was holding the rear cover to the flash capacitor, and that this was adding to the resistance.

Gotta admit I'm struggling with the "verifiable" requirement. A search of the internet (via Google) took me to the very-active thread at http://blogs.yucs.org/~dwallach/2004/08/canon_e18_error_repair_instruc.html. The thread alerted me to the existence of the site at http://menthol.hit.bg/E18.html site. This site has great pictures, but I struggle with the text a bit as I don't understand the Cyrillic alphabet.

My aim, in this submission to Wikipedia, is to identify an English-language forum in which the body of knowledge regarding servicing of the A70 (in this case) can be continually enhanced in a structured way.

Hoping Wikipedia can, or can find a way to, accomodate content of this type. (Disclaimer and/or Warning on any 'How to' articles?)

A project that John Garcia started with his brother, the world famous actor Andy Garcia. The project took flight initially in 1997 when the two were returning from rehab from the reclusive center Cas-Del Mar in Brazil. John writes the lyrics and they both share singing duties. Mr. Michael Morley, renound misician and English teacher, has had a profound impact on every aspect of life in the greater Prophetstown area. He plays an integral part in the education of the youth in the areas of Film Studies and English. He has also helped to unite the generations with a project called "Chapter Seven." Chapter Seven is able to bridge the generation gap and provide a more united community with less conflict and violence. He continues his work from his home base in Sterling Illinois. If he continues to exhibit progress, he may be eligible for induction into the halls of the Illinois Humanitarian Organization in the future.

The concept of a "Nanopedia" is one of the modern List_of_holy_grails. It is the age old dream of the "book of everything". The nanopedia could never be truly complete until it contained all knowledge known to man, regardless of how trivial. One could look up what flavour of wedding cake a random person from 200 years ago ate at his sister's wedding. This theoretical device is often merged with [Artificial_Intelligence] to create an all knowing device which would answer all of your questions.

The Nanopedia in various forms has appeared in science fiction books, novels and games such as the "Star Fleet Database", to the literal Nanopedia from Civilization: Call to Power computer game.

Round Face Productions is a theatre company in Busan, Korea, established in March 2006 which is run by expatriates living in Korea's second city. The group was set up to fill an artistic void in the lives of both the expatriate (mainly English teachers) and native Korean population who wanted to address the imbalance of the cultural monopoly of Seoul, and who wanted to show how a foreign community could add artistic life to this city of 4 million people. The group was the brainchild of Steve Feldman and long time Busan pioneer of performing Arts Park Hae In. Although the group was formed over a series of bar conversations, there already had been a series of short plays performed at a well known bar in the Kyungsung/Bukyong area of Busan, 'Monks', which showed that there was a genuine interest on the part of the expatriate community to expand on these endeavours. It was then decided that Round Face Productions first production would be Dario Fo's 'Accidental Death of an Anarchist' which would be performed in Busans' Kyungsung University in early June 2006. In December 2006 the group became the subject of controversy following a performance of Babo-Palooza, a scetch show satirizing the lives of foreigners in Korea and their host country. Busan Police began an investigation into the show on the grounds of participants performing outside of their Visas and for holding an illegal performance. However there were strong claims that the investigation was triggered because of the content of the show

UK based acoustic guitar trio, Trio Gitano was formed in 2001 by three 'graduate' members of the Birmingham School's Guitar Ensemble - Sam Slater, Jamie Fekete and Sophie Johnson. Directed by Bryan Lester, and currently signed to the Birds Recording Company indie label, Trio Gitano's debut album - Who Ate All The Tapas? - was released in August 2005, and voted as one of the Records of the Year by The Sunday Times newspaper. Trio Gitano perform a wide and eclectic selection of music, including jazz, hotclub, gypsy, latin, flamenco and classical influences.

Now, you may be wondering what SBlounskched is. It is a candy bar shaped like Strong Bad's pants. It was invented on Strong Bad Email #149, when someone asked him why he doesn't have his on Candy Product. He responded by making SBlounskched. Here' how it's made. Take marshmallow dust, and coat it with solid liquid licorice. Take a bunch o' those, and float them in a sea of nougat. Then, wrap all that with a "Cookie Log". Layer it with pepperoni, and miniature bowls of puffed rice on the top, and cover it with chocolate. Then, somehow, shape it like Strong Bad's pants for some reason.

Jason Atkinson is an Oregon State Senator and candidate for Governor in the 2006 Republican Party primary.

Jason Atkinson, the son of former Oregon State G.O.P. Chair Perry Atkinson, is a Senator from Oregon Senate District 2. He is serving his second term, after being elected to the Senate in 2000 and re-elected in 2004. As a Senator, Jason Atkinson has served as Deputy Majority Leader, Majority Whip, and Committee Chair. He previously served a single term as a State Representative after winning his first election in 1998, where he served as Assistant Majority Leader.

Jason Atkinson holds an M.B.A. from Willamette University and a B.A. in History and Political Science from Southern Oregon University. Prior to his service in government, he was a competive skier and cyclist, travelling across the world to take part in athletic competitions and running his own business as a ski instructor. He has recently published his first book, "What We All Wish Politicians Understood," this March.

Jason Atkinson has entered the race for Oregon Governor in 2006. He emerged as a serious contender after placing second in the annual Dorchester Straw Poll of Oregon Delegates, nearly tied for first place with challenger Ron Saxton, and far ahead of 2002 G.O.P. nominee Kevin Mannix.

Intro

GovernmentSecurity.Org, known as GSO by its 10,000+ active members, is an IT security-related website that focuses on increasing public institutional knowledge of IT vulnerabilities and security threats. It has members in over 147 countries and strives to be a valuable resource for any IT security enthusiast. Two of the administrators, GSecur and Kenny L (ComSec), from the US and UK, respectively, have kept the operation going as an active public resource since October 2002. Another two administrators, dissolutions and w00dy, assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the site along with the moderating team.

At any given point in the day there are anywhere from 200-400 guests (non-registered viewers & bots) and 25-75 members viewing the website. There is also an IRC channel that typically holds 50 to 100 people, most idling. The members database is pruned semi-annually, removing users with few or no posts to ensure the registered members remain active and the count is indicative of the true demographic for GSO. The administrations estimates well over fifty thousand unique users have created accounts over the site's four year existence.

At its inception, GSecur, a network security consultant, primarily used the website as a "dump site" to store files, tools, and other odd and ends. It remained this way for nearly a year, when he decided to setup a home page and create a security portal that could be used by others.

The original orange layout was abandoned in late February of 2003 for a more favorable grey-blue, and has remained relatively unchanged since. The number of users frequenting the site at this point, began to take off. From a scant 9 registered members in February to over 1,000 in August, it was clear that the topic of IT security was becoming more and more important.

Much of the increase in membership was due to GovernmentSecurity changing focus from a news portal to a hardened IT security forum. Two users from Security-Forums.com, ComSec and dissolutions, resigned as moderator and privileged members and left to help assist GSecur in the development of the forums and site.

Growth

Credit also should be given to the Blaster/Nachi worm and RPC vulnerability here for its role in drumming up interest. Most of the information on the vulnerability was available first on GSO, and security gurus were testing compiles of exploits and reverse-engineering the Microsoft patches within weeks of its release. After Google had indexed this, a wave of new individuals came to the site to find out more and help out when the next version of the RPC vulnerability came out in early October. By the end of the month, GSO was 11,500 strong and still growing rapidly. A purging of the database occurred in November 2003 to remove inactive accounts or those who had only posted a few times.

In February 2004, much ado focused on the anonymous release of the windows source code. Many of the new users were simply posting "thnx" in replies to exploit information in order to bump their post count to the much-needed 50 posts to become a full member and get access to the downloads. A tactic of "vulturing", or posting a short phrase or one-line response to a topic that was 3 months old or older became commonplace to hit that quota. Many of these users were outright banned.

Maturity

GovernmentSecurity ran into trouble with its member count passing 14,000 by June of 2004 and the cost of maintaining the website was taxing the admin and moderating staff.

New users, some previously banned or removed, would come back to try to get member accounts for access to other parts of the forums. Since several trojan and rootkit authors, including holy father of Hacker Defender (hxdef) fame, had accounts and updates on GSO, becoming a full member often meant access to some of the best anti-virus evading executables on the Internet. Administration recognized this problem and started closing and reopening registration on a quarterly basis.

Five months later, in November 2004, registrations had reached the 17000 mark, slowing considerably from lack of remote Windows 2000 and XP vulnerabilities. Focus began to increase on Internet Explorer exploits, and rootkits. It was also at this time that management made some shifts in the forum layout and began to focus more on malicious user mitigation. New policies towards malicious or suspiciously-short posts helped ensure the site's direction continued unabashed.

Current

Recently, GovernmentSecurity's members have evolved over the years to a fully international effort and have avoided becoming complacent. Several anti-virus vendors have accounts on the forums as well as IT security mailing-list operators. The site has active members from over 30 different countries and continues to be a source of IT security info while keeping the "script kiddie" activity low. The site also has networked with other forums, such as DataStronghold, and keeps representative's at several other security forums to help mitigate DDoS threats and other hack attempts.

Bhojalram Bapa - A holy saint from Saurashtra, Gujarat. Popular for his "Chaabakhaa" literature.

There was a website previously: "www.bhojaldham.com" - which is not currently active. However, one can find history of Bhojalram Bapa at http://www.jalaram.com/ (Bhojalram Bapa was Guru of Jalaram Bapa)

"Bhojaldham" is a memorial place located in the Fatepur village near Amreli (Saurashtra), Gujarat.

"Bhojabapa naa chaabakhaa" - Its a different style of holy writings by Bhojalram bapa - which gives the "message" (mostly in the end of the "Chaabakhaa").

"Chaabakhaa" is a gujarati word - its close meaning in English is "Hunter". So after reading his "chaabakhaa" - the reader gets the message in the last statement (In most of his "Chaabakhaa"s, the last statement starts like: "Bhojo bhagat kahe..." and then the holy message or the "whole point" of the "chaabakhaa".

A former Canadian federal department established in 1944 and split into two seperate departments, Health Canada and Human Resources and Labour Canada, in June 1993 by Prime Minister Kim Campbell. Within a few months a new government was elected and Human Resources and Labour Canada became Human Resources Development Canada.

The Starfire Design Studio is a private company owned and operated by Marvin Lamb. The sole purpose of the SDS is to design, produce, and promote products for the Starfire game. Started before 1995 as a volunteer group to build new products for 3rd-edition Starfire, the SDS has since produced Galactic Starfire (2000), Admiral's Challenge (2000), Ultra Starfire (2005), and a small host of supporting documents and products.

DormWars.com is the new generation of online videos and images for college students. The website was launched in March, 2006 with the sole purpose of determining "which college (and fraternity) is the craziest." Matter of fact, DormWars proves that most college, are in fact, crazy. As proof to point, DormWars has an abundance of pictures and videos on their website from behind-the-scenes footage of parties, clubs, and everyday life on campus.
