Aghmeed Village is located about 37km from Beirut, in the province of Mount Lebanon, in Alay District. One can reach Aghmeed through Mdairej Road, Ain Dara and Al Azzounieh. Aghmeed is at an altitude of 1,200 m, close to Mount Al Barouk, which is famous for its cedar trees. Other villages surrounding Aghmeed are : Al Azzounieh, Ain Dara, Sharoun, Bmuhrein, Alramlieh, Al Mreijat, Nabaa Al Safa and Ain Zhalta

Gypsy Nirvana, alias for (in)famous British marijuana and cannabis seeds businessman, activist and advocate.

Well known for his Cannabis seeds companies, Seeds Direct in London and Seed Boutiquein Amsterdam, and also his exploits around the world in search of new cannabis strains.

Splits time between living in London and Amsterdam where he runs cannabis seeds shops, which by local law are completely legal. Smokeable product cannot be purchased at either of his premises but if you visit the shop in Amsterdam you are entitled to a free seed pack and a toke of the local herb, all free of charge.

He also throws 'The 4/20 Growers and Breeders Cup' every year on the 18th-19th and 20th April in Amsterdam and publishes International Cannagraphic Magazine.

frame Hailing from Dearborn, is a black metal band known as Forgotten Future. The quartet is influened by true black metal bands overall, but find other influences in grenes such as dark ambient and old school thrash and death metal as well.

Members: frame|Ryan Lang-Vokilz - Ryan Lang, AKA The Mystical Badger, on vocals combines countless tones and styles, with a great deal of pitch range and dark lyrics.

Scott Cleghorn is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba but has lived in Bedford, Nova Scotia for the past three years. Scott graduated from Charles P. Allan High School this year and is currently working for the Halifax Regional Municipality at an Enviro Depot. He will be attending Nova Scotia Community College in the fall. Scott believes in the principles outlined by the Green Party and feels that it is important for the people of Nova Scotia to have the opportunity to make a choice for a political party that puts the environment as its top priority.

Andrei Griazev is a talented up-and-coming figure skater representing Russia. Andrei was born on July 26, 1985, in Perm, Russia. He began skating at the age of four. At the age of 11, he moved from Perm to St. Petersburg, to train with famous coach Alexei Mishin at the Yublieney training center; the same coach who had worked with Olympic champions Alexei Urmanov, Alexei Yagudin, and Evgeney Plushenko.

During his time with professor Mishin, Andrei developed the powerful triple axel he is so known for. After several years with professor Mishin, Andrei placed a disappointing 14th at the Junior World Championships in 2002. After this, the famed coach no longer took personal interest in the boy, having him work with his wife, Tatiana Mishina.

Andrei became frustrated and disappointed, and left Yublieney, going home to Perm and not skating at all for several months. Reportedly, his mother had contact with former training mate Yagudin, who suggested that Andrei come to the U.S. to train with Tatiana Tarasova. Andrei moved to the U.S. to train with the famous coach, and in 2004, became Junior World Champion. That same year, he placed third at Russian senior nationals, and earned his way to European championships and World championships, where he placed 8th and 12th, respectively.

In 2005, Andrei suffered a back injury, having to withdraw from Skate America. He struggled at Cup of Russia, placing 7th, but then earned silver at Russian Nationals. He went again to European championships, placing an impressive 5th, and moved up a place at World championships to 11th.

2006 proved to be a year of highs and lows. As Tarasova had returned to Russia, Andrei did also, training with the great coach and Elena Buianova (nee Vodorezova). He had a very disappointing performance at Skate Canada, placing 9th out of 11 men. The very next week, however, he won the bronze medal at Cup of China, his first senior Grand Prix medal. At that competition, he actually led after the short program, and earned new personal best scores for his short program, long program, and overall total.

What looked like a near certainty to medal at Russian nationals faltered, when Andrei struggled badly in both programs and placed a disappointing 9th. He missed going to European championships and Olympic games. Due to some other skater withdrawals and struggles, Andrei was sent to 2006 Worlds, where he had uninspiring qualifying and short programs, but performed a nearly flawless long program which was one of the high points of the competition.

Andrei returned to Russia in March 2006 to take part in the "Italian Carnival" skating tour produced by Ilia Averbukh.

Euphemia ELPHINSTONE , daughter of Lord Alexander ELPHINSTONE and Elizabeth BARLOW, was born on 11 May 1509 and died after 1547.

Euphemia Elphinstone had a son named Robert Stewart with James Stewart, King James V, King of Scots. This son was recognised by the King and was made Earl of Orkney and Lord of Zetland. Her father Alexander Elphinstone, 1st Lord Elphinstone was attached during his lifetime to the Household of King James 1V. Euphemia's other son Lawrence Bruce of Cultmalindie was therefore a half brother to Robert Stewart who was half brother to Mary Queen of Scots, daughter of King James V.

What attracted you to this field? Three things. First, when I started, in the 60s, literally almost nothing was known about how vision worked, so the field was wide open. Almost any question you could ask was worth asking. Second, and better still, was the never-ending series of strange visual phenomena with which researchers could entertain themselves and, more especially, could entertain their students. It was sometimes quite complex to set up lecture demonstrations, but the results were always worth it. Third, and as I explain a bit more below, it actually attacks one of the four or five most fundamental questions you can ask, namely: what is the nature of space? of time? of matter? of life? and of consciousness?

What advances would you like to see in your field? I am astonished at the advances that have already been made in 40 years. From knowing almost nothing we have progressed to having what is really quite a good idea about how to produce an internal representation of the outside world based upon the patterns of light that reach the eye or the camera. Advances in imaging and computing technology have made it possible to visualise on a screen the locations of maximum brain activity that occur when an observer looks at different types of visual material. But the fundamental question of vision is really nothing less than the fundamental question about the nature of consciousness itself. We now know an awful lot about what activity goes on in the brain when a particular scene is viewed, but we don�t know how to link that activity with a particular state of awareness. The same question could be asked about the brain activity underlying a recalled memory. The fact is, we don�t even know how to pose the question with any precision, and that tells me as an unreconstructed Wittgensteinian that we are still a long way from an answer.

Where did you work before you came to JCU? At the University of Western Australia, as their first Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science; and before that as a professor of Psychology. Before I came to Australia I was professor of Psychology at the University of Reading, and before that I had been at the Universities of Bristol and Durham.

What do you like to see students take away from their studies? A sense of wonder at the comprehensible complexity of the world. They should know enough to understand and take joy from how beautifully complex everything is, and they should have been given the skills to be confident that they can make sense of it all.

They should come away with a clear understanding of the constructed nature of knowledge, so that they are immune to the absolutism of ideologues.

They should be proof against those who would declare a version of the truth to suit their own ends, and should be able to ask: who says? What�s the evidence and how was it gathered?

They should know how to construct new knowledge structures for themselves, whether that is in terms of a personal understanding of the world or whether it is in terms of a business plan for a commercial venture.

I would also like to see them write decent sentences, to demonstrate by the precision of their language some evidence of the precision of the thought processes that underlie it.

Who has been the most significant influence on your career, and why? I guess in terms of the total cumulative impact it would be not a person but a series of people, all those people who did their PhDs with me. It was their constantly-new questioning that kept my approach to the discipline constantly evolving.

In terms of the single most influential individual in my research life, it would have to be David Marr, a young computer scientist who died at a tragically early age, but not before he had completely transformed for me the study of vision. He was unquestionably a genius, and gave the discipline a number of totally new points of view, all within a unified framework. For me his greatest gift was to generalise the problem of vision, to raise it from specific questions of the form "how does a rat discriminate horizontal and vertical gratings?" to the general question: "what information about the structure of the world is available in the pattern of light in the environment?". That makes you ask a whole different set of questions, focussing on the information available and the way it would need to be processed by any visual system, whether human, animal, or machine.

What is the best advice you have been given? "Learn to lose and lump it."

What are your favourite books/authors or other interests? My all-time favourite book is probably Three Men in a Boat, written by Jerome K Jerome in the late 1880s. I have read it so many times that I can recite some passages, but paradoxically it still seems fresh and lovable and funny.

In Perth I was crazy about windsurfing, but the conditions are not quite right here, and anyway - although things are slowly getting a bit better - I have allowed this job to consume me completely for the last three and a half years.

If you weren't doing what you're doing, what would you be doing? Some days stacking shelves in a supermarket looks pretty good to me. But then at the end of every month I try to take stock, and there�s always some progress...and still I can�t think of any job I�d rather be doing, or any place I�d rather be doing it.

CashMoney is a Candian owned finacial company that specialized in cheque cashing and payday loans. It has expanded greatly in the past several years (since 2001) .

It is sometimes criticized for the name, as some say it tries to appeal to blacks due to the term "Cashmoney" being prevelant in hip hop culture.

Kohtha Pind is a mafia hangout located in Shah Jamal, Lahore. It is widely rumoured to be one of the most notorious gangs of the city and the local population knows very well that the members of the Pind gang are feared even by the police. The current leader of the gang is Zain Homaeer, who is referred to by most people as simply 'Pindu ( Belonging to Pind)'.

In the summer of 2007, the gang is rumoured to have shift its headquarters from shah jamal district of lahore to defence housing authority. The news was posted in one of the last few pages of the newly launched urdu newspaper "waqt" ( Translated as The Times), a confirmation of the existance of the gang. A reference to the gang may also be found in the book " Pakistani Kahanian ke 50 saal" ( 50 years' compilations of pakistani stories)

Biography:

Dr. Mohsen Kavehrad, is the W. L. Weiss Professor of Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (formerly; Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute) in 1977. Between 1978 and 1981, he worked for Fairchild Industries (Space Communications Division) and GTE (Satellite Corp. and Labs.). In December 1981, he joined Bell Laboratories where he worked in research, development and systems engineering areas. In March 1989, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Ottawa, as a Full Professor where he was at the same time the Director of Broadband Communications Research Laboratory. He was also the Director of Photonic Networks and Systems Thrust and a project leader in the Communications and Information Technology Ontario (CITO), a project leader in the Canadian Institute for Telecommunications Research and the Director of Ottawa-Carleton Communications Center for Research (OCCCR). He was an academic visitor (senior technical consultant) at NTT Laboratories, Japan, in summer 1991. He spent a six months sabbatical term as an academic visitor (senior technical consultant) at NORTEL, Ottawa, in 1996. In January 1997, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University as the W. L. Weiss (AMERITECH) Endowed Chair Professor of Electrical Engineering. In August 1997 he was appointed as the founding Director of Center for Information and Communications Technology Research (CICTR). During 1997-1998 he was also the CTO and a Vice President at Tele-Beam Inc., State College, PA. He visited, as an academic visitor (senior technical consultant), Lucent ( Bell Labs.) in New Jersey, in the summer of 1999. He spent a six months sabbatical term as an academic visitor (senior technical consultant) at AT&T Shannon Research Labs., Florham Park, New Jersey, in 2004. He has also served as a consultant to a score of major corporations and government agencies.

Dr. Kavehrad's research contributions have been in the fields of: Satellite communications, Fixed radio communications, Portable and Mobile radio communications, Atmospheric Laser communications, Fiber optic communications and fiber optic networks. His current research interests are in the areas of technologies, systems, and network architectures that enable the vision of the information age; e.g., Broadband Wireless Communications Networked Systems and Optical Communications Networked Systems. Since the start of his academic career, these research topics and others have led to significant graduate research. He has supervised to completion several doctoral dissertations and all his students hold positions in the top industry and academia. He was elected a Fellow of the IEEE in January 1992 for his contributions to Digital Wireless Communications and Optical Fiber Systems and Networks. He received 3 Exceptional Technical Contributions awards while working at Bell Laboratories for his works on Wireless Communications Systems, the 1990 TRIO Feedback award for his patent on a "Passive Optical Interconnect" and the IEEE VTS Neal Shepherd best propagation paper award and 3 IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society best paper awards and a Canada NSERC PhD-thesis gold medal award, jointly with his former graduate students for their works on wireless and optical systems. He has lectured worldwide as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, and as plenary and keynote speaker at leading conferences. His works have been published in over 300 refereed journal and conference papers, several books and book chapters, and he holds several key issued patents in these areas. He was cited by the Canadian Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry, as a leader in the development of Canada's information highway, to serve in Canada's first Community Center for Information Access in March 1994.

Dr. Kavehrad's professional activities include being on the Advisory Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI ) in MASS (1998-2003), serving as a reviewer and panelist for the National Science Foundation, has chaired review panels for NSERC-Canada and served as a reviewer for multiple technical journals and conferences. He is a former Technical Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Communications Magazine and the IEEE Magazine of Light-wave Telecommunications Systems. Presently, he is on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Wireless Information Networks. He served as the General Chair of leading IEEE conferences and workshops. He has chaired, organized and been on the advisory committee for several international conferences and workshops.

Dr. Kavehrad has been quoted in such internationally circulated publications and media as the New York Times, Electronics Times, IEEE Communications Society Industry News Cache, Science Daily Magazine, iG - NY TIMES, ICON New, Wireless News Factor, Uni-Science, Photonics Spectra, TRN News, INFORMATICA 2.0, EE TIMES in UK and the BBC in London.

Omar Sangare was born and raised in Poland, and graduated from the Theater Academy in Warsaw, where he studied with the Oscar winning director, Andrzej Wajda. In 1994 he was awarded a scholarship to The British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England. While there he worked with Derek Jacobi, Alan Rickman, Michael Kahn, and Jeremy Irons. In 2006, Omar Sangare received Ph.D. degree from the Theater Academy in Warsaw. Currently, he teaches in Department of Theatre at Williams College, USA.

He holds many film, television, and radio credits. For his one-man drama True Theater Critic, he was voted The Best in Acting by The New York International Fringe Festival in 1997. The same year invited to The Jerzy Grotowski Theater in Wroclaw, Poland, where he won four prizes at The Theater Festival. His award-winning monodrama was presented in Poland, Canada, England, Ukraine, Germany, and the United States. Recently, acclaimed by the press for his lead part in the Arena Players Repertory Theater production of Othello. Barbara Delatiner included the distinct conclusion in her article for The New York Times, Omar Sangare was born to play Othello!

His published literary work includes two books of poetry: Postscriptum and Landscape of the Soul, collections of short stories titled Tales for Old Horse, and Tales for Black Sheep as well as many essays and articles for various magazines and newspapers in Poland. Accompanied by great American writers such as Robert Pinsky, and Susan Sontag he promoted his Polish literature in the United States. In 2003, he released his first solo album, ON. He also recorded Polish Christmas Carols for television TVP1 in Poland. Recently, in 2005, he published Tales for Decent Man. Both Tales for Old Horse and Tales for Black Sheep are bestsellers in Poland.

Through many years he became a well-known person in Poland. Every year he is invited to join the Meeting of Leading Artists, which is organized by the President of Poland.

Dr. Omar Sangare was born to present his talents internationally through a thriving career as an actor, director, teacher, and writer.

The Chairman of the Consultative Committee or CCC as he is usually known as is the only internally elected position on the Oxford Union's Standing Committee, though without voting rights. They are elected by those who have attended four of the last eight Consutlative Committee's.

The weekly meeting of Consultative Committee is the opportunity for members to get more involved in the Union. Any member may attend, ask questions to the holder of any position, and suggest titles for the weekly emergency debate, which will be voted on. Meetings are held every Monday in the Gladstone Room.

Despite being seen as doing all the main dogsbody work the CCC is usually held in quite high reguard and indeed many candidates use it as a platfrom to which to run for a senior Officership. Candidates for the position of Presidentin the HT06 and TT06 elections have held this postition. However many people who for which ever reason do not want to run in elections(such as not liking the hacking or come from small electoral bases such as St Anne's or St Benet's) use it as a way of getting involved in the Oxford Union

Daichi Kuroda, also known as DK from The Seeker. Not much is known about him after he quit The Seeker and the official site was put down from the internet.

The Seeker was a two-man band also known as K.Ito+D.K.. With Ken'ichi Ito on guitar and vocal background and DK on main vocals. They started the band during the beginning of the Gravitation anime (the song Sleepless beauty is from The Seeker). After a while of releasing albums and singles, when they were known as 'The Seeker', K.Ito quit the band. DK went on and was supported by Daisuke Asakura. But the disbanding was reality, on 5 june 2005.

After there is not much known about DK. Some say he has had a sexchange and is now called Hebi-hime.

oigle is a term used in Australia in the fifties and sxties for a small boy. eg. " the oigle can get the chooks eggs". The comic strip Radish (a seedy) horse used it now and again as a descrier for the grandson of the horse owners.

John Bello is the founder and former CEO of South Beach Beverage Company, the maker of nutritionally enhanced teas and juices marketed under the brand name SoBe. PepsiCo purchased the company, established in 1995, in 2001 for $370 million.

In 2001, Ernst and Young named Bello national Entrepreneur of the Year in the Consumer Products category for his work with SoBe. The Ernst and Young E&Y program is a worldwide competition that honors the best entrepreneurs and recognizes their positive impact and contributions to America through the creation of value, jobs and advancing social responsibility.

Currently, Bello is Chairman of Soup Kitchen International, a recently formed company that is marketing the soups made by Al Yeganeh, the New York soup chef that inspired the famous Seinfeld “Soup Nazi” episode.

Prior to founding SoBe, Bello, 60, spend 14 years at National Football League Properties, the marketing arm of the NFL. As President, Bello is credited for building NFL Properties into a sports marketing leader and creating the model by which every major sports league now operates. He was named number 46 of Sporting News’ Most Powerful People in Sports in 1992.

Before the NFL, Bello worked for Pepsi-Cola in marketing and strategic planning capacities and at General Foods where he held product management roles on the Sanka and Maxwell House Brands. He also was Product Director for Keds Brand footwear at Uniroyal.

Bello is an operating partner with Sherbrooke Capital, a venture capital group dedicated to investing in leading, early stage health and wellness companies. He is Chairman of the Board of Izze, a Sherbrooke portfolio company. He is also President of JoNa Ventures, an investment and strategic management company he founded with his wife Nancy

During four years of service with the United States Navy, Bello achieved the rank of Lieutenant (Senior Grade) and received the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V for meritorious service on riverboats in South Vietnam. He was widely known to the Viet Cong as the “Merchant of the Mekong Delta.”

 Kid Krillin is one of the main characters in Dragonball.

His first appearence is in the tournament saga where he asks Master Roshi for martial Arts lessons. He soon becomes Goku's rival and best friend participating in the first two tournaments of Dragonball.

He is last seen in the Piccolo Jr saga where he is replaced by adult Krillin. He is involved in many battles and is killed by Tambourine (King Piccolo's henchman) at the end of the Tienshinhan saga. His most memorable fights are:

Shambala is located on the edge of the Mojave Desert, forty miles northeast of Los Angeles, California in a town called Acton. Shambala is the only wild animal preserve of its kind in the United States. Since 1972, the eighty acre wildlife habitat has provided a haven for endangered exotic big cats. About seventy animals live at Shambala, including African lions, Siberian and Bengal tigers, leopards, servals, mountain lions, bobcats, a lynx, a Florida panther, a snow leopard, and a cheetah. Most of these animals were born in captivity,with many of them being orphans or cast-offs from circuses, zoos and private owners who could no longer care for them. None of them has ever been in the wild. All depend upon humans for their needs. With expert veterinary care, carefully planned diets and constant attention by a dedicated staff of professionals, Shambala provides a dignified life for these precious wild animals. There is no breeding program at the Preserve. They work with organizations such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Fish and Game Departments of numerous states, and various zoos throughout the country. These organizations have asked the Shambala Preserve to care for animals which have been abandoned or are in need of the unique environment provided only by Shambala. Shambala is maintained by the Roar Foundation, established in 1983 as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under the laws of the State of California. The Preserve is open to the public. Tippi Hedren, is President of the Roar Foundation. She guides the organization's efforts to increase the public's knowledge about wildlife in our world. She also provides guidance and leadership in maintaining the beautiful Shambala Preserve for the wild beings for whom this haven was established.

Louie Ignacio started out early in his career as a director of TV commercials. Most of them low-budgeted with such products as Katol, Orocan and other cheap whatnots.

Eventually he moved to directing music videos. His style which eventually became too cliche include putting so much candles, bedsheets, plastic vines and smoke effects. His originality is questionable and yet he rreally made a name for himself. That explains how closely guarded TV directing field is and how meagre talents lord it over simply by making a few friends inside the networks.

Created in 1975 by an act of Congress, the Truman Foundation is the official federal memorial to President Harry S. Truman. Its mission is to recognize future "change agents" and to provide them with support in pursuing careers in public service. It selected its first Truman scholars during the 1977 - 1978 academic year. While the details have change over time, applicants are currently required to be full-time juniors at four-year colleges and universities; nominated by the Truman Foundation faculty representative at their institutions; in the upper quartile of their classes; and US citizens or US nationals. They are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and service and commitment to careers in public service. The Foundation defines public service as, "employment in government at any level, uniformed services, public-interest organizations, nongovernmental research and/or educational organizations, public and private schools, and public service-oriented nonprofit organizations such as those whose primary purposes are to help needy or disadvantaged persons or to protect the environment."

Successful applicants receive $30,000 for graduate school ($13,500 for their first year and $13,500 for their last year) and career development opportunities such as participation in Truman Scholarship Leadership Week the summer after their selection, Summer Institute the summer after they graduate from college, the Truman Fellows program, and the Public Service Law School Conference.

Each year, between 600 and 700 students apply to the Foundation for scholarships (more participate on their campuses for one of their institutions' four nominations). Approximately 200 - 230 are selected as finalists; they participate in regional interview panels, which select 70 - 75 Truman scholars annually.

Applications are due to the Foundation in late January, although some institutions have earlier deadlines. The interview panels begin in late February and the new class of Truman scholars is announced in late March.

The current president of the Truman Foundation is Madeleine Albright. The Executive Secretary is Frederick Slabach, who is also the first Truman scholar to lead the Foundation.

Famous Truman scholars include Janet Napolitano, the Governor of Arizona, and George Stephanopoulos.

Rhadi Ferguson is a 2004 Olympian in the Sport of Judo and the only American Judo Olympian to also hold a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. He is also the only grappler in the world to compete at the Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling World Championships, the Brazilian Jiujitsu World Championships and the Olympic Games. Rhadi Ferguson is a 4-time National Judo Champion and a strength and conditioning coach in Boca Raton, Florida.

Rhadi's first Brazilian Jiujitsu instructor was Lloyd Irvin. Rhadi competed for Team Lloyd Irvin and then moved to Boca Raton, Florida and began training with the American Top Team. Rhadi earned all of his belts up to the brown belt ranking from BJJ coach extraordinaire - Lloyd Irvin and Rhadi was promoted to Black Belt by one of the World's Greatest Brazilian Jiujitsu players ever - Ricardo Liborio.

Rhadi Ferguson now resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Traci and their son Rufus.

DriveGLEAM is a freeware disk activity monitor program written for Windows that will show one or more icons in the system notification area (tray) that indicates if a disk is beeing read or writen to. The program is written in C and is designed to use as few system resources as possible. Currently the program is under development and have reached beta stage. DriveGLEAM can also monitor the CPU, RAM and VIRTUAL RAM usage and unlike other alternative programs it can output the result to the parallel port of the PC enabling the possibility to build independent led boards that can show activity for a particular drive or partition. The purpose of DriveGLEAM is to allow individual drives to be monitored by the user without adding a individual LED to each hard drive in the system. DriveGLEAM is quite usefull in large servers or workstations that have many drives and where you want to keep an eye on the activity for each drive. (most motherboards uses a global drive activity LED for all hard drives without separate read/write information)

Fonejacker, was a one-off prank phone call show produced by Hat Trick Productions for Channel 4, as part of their Comedy Lab series of programmes.

The show consisted off an unknown man, who was revealed to be Kayvan Novak in the show's credits, disguised in a balaclava and sunglasses living in a cheap flat, and phoning people using an old fashioned telephone. These prank phone calls were only made by Novak, and were broadcast with cheap animation, which insisted in a picture of a person with their jaw moving up and down (excluding a mouse) with Novak's voice talents played over it. The prank phone calls included in the show were:

A man on a camel phoning Directory Enquiries, asking for the number for HMV, which he pronounces as "Hoomv".
A criminal phoning an anonymus man to take part in a bank job.
A french man named Jean-Pierre phoning a company about a car for his wife, but the phone signal keeps breaking up.
A man named George Agdgdgwngo who phones a man from Liverpool to illegally retrieve his bank account details, by telling him he has won £82.57.
A mouse phoning the vet claiming it has eaten poison.
Jean-Pierre phoning the same company again about the same car, with the line breaking up again.
A man on a camel phoning an electronics store asking for prices on their DVD players, which he pronounces as Doovd or Doovdé, and their LCD Tvs, which he pronounces as Likide Tiv.
George Agdgdgwngo phoning a woman, and claims that the money in her banks vault is being steam cleaned, and moved into a communal vault, and asking for her bank account details. The woman he calls is a Bank Manager and says she will be informing the police about the phone call.
Somebody phoning for a Rickshaw, asking a man who the prank caller thinks is called "Rik", to pick him up from an airport.
A man on a camel phoning a woman about a car for sale, which is still for sale, and he hangs up the phone.
A horny man phoning a Dental Surgery for an appointment due to a problem affecting his speech. As he asks the receptionist for an appointment, he also asks questions like "Can I take your panties" and "You want to see my cock?, which the woman cannot understand.
An elderly man phoning a shop called "Portabellos" claiming that he purchased a lamp from the shop, and that a genie popped out of it.
George Agdgdgwngo phoning somebody as a pre-recorded voice saying "Welcome to automated telephone baking. After the beep, please insert your bank account details". The person hangs up.

Emery Gulash (1918-2006) was a noted railroad photographer in the United States. Although his photographic slides have appeared in various national railroad publications, he is best known for his extensive arhive of 16mm motion picture footage of American railroads from about 1950 to 1980. This is notable because during this time period, before the advent of videotape, it was expensive and time consuming for amateurs to document railroad activity with moving pictures. In addition, Gulash used high quality 16mm film as his format. Many of Gulash's films have been edited and released as commercial videotapes and DVDs.

A well respected and popular London based DJ who plays a wide variety of Dance Music Styles including, Trance, House, Techno, Old Skool, Hard Dance and European Hard Trance. He is also a well respected Producer who has released over 11 tracks under a variety of aliases on his own (now defunct) label Vinyl Zoo. These have been critically acclaimed in Dance Music publications suchs as DJ and M8 Magzines. To date he can still be caught playing out regularly, mainly in London and occasionally all over the UK.

Kokopelli and Company, is a smart and humorous comic strip by cartoonist Larry Gonick, which runs monthly in the popular children's sceince magazine, Muse. The comic strip characters are extremely popular among subscribers to the magazine, and some kids even seem to beleive they are real.

The strip is so popular, that some kids have decided that a film based on a novel version of the comic, would be a good idea.

Larry Gonick's 'Kokopelli and Company-In-Attack of the Smart Pies' (see Kokopelli and Company article) can be purchased on www.amazon.com. It is smart, funny, and worth reading.

As for the movie, many ideas have already been submited. It is unknown at this point, wether the people at the Muse Offices, will concend to grant this popular request.

Castle Torthorwald

Torthorwald Castle is a motte and bailey fortress. Both the basement and first floor hall of this long keep are vaulted and in one corner is a stairway to access the upper floors. The earlier earthworks surrounding the ruined keep have considerable ramparts and wet ditches. 5 miles south-west is Dumfries Castle and 5 miles north-east is Lochmaben Castle, Scotland.
