Modeled after the consumer Fast Trax motorized skis, the classified ElektroTreads were essentially snow skis with miniaturized tank treads affixed—like snowmobiles worn on the feet. Speed was controlled by pushing the tips of the index finger and thumb together, compressing two pressure plates inside the right-hand glove. A powerful gel battery was molded around the foot, doubling as insulation and allowing the skis to run silently. Ingeniously, the kinetic energy generated by gravity and the spinning treads as the wearer glided down a hill was automatically harvested to recharge the batteries for the next incline. Omega MeneditThe Omega Men were lucky to escape the Infinite Crisis without losses, but they would not fare so well in the wake of Lady Styx. After returning home to the Vegan system, they found that much of the system had already been converted to Lady Styx's new "religion" of subservience. Styx co-opted the name and power of the former Darkstars; her brainwashed and "zombified" acolytes also called themselves Darkstars. The Darkstars appeared to bring unity and peace to its followers, but this was a mask for the total annihilation of cultures with which she came into contact. Styx preached enlightenment by way of intolerance. Inevitably, Vega's self-styled "protectors", the Omega Men came to clash with the Darkstars on the remains of Tamaran. There, all but the five Omega Men (Tigorr, Broot, Ryand'r, Elu, and Doc) were killed. HeartstoneseditIn this battle, the Omega Men uncovered Lady Styx's true goal — to acquire the universal Heartstones. These talismans were borne of the universe itself, at the dawn of time, and held great power. If she could collect all four, she could essentially "kill God" and take its place. During the Omega Men's worst hour Ryand'r found one of these stones on Tamaran and manifested great powers of his own. As the newly-christened Darkfire, he finished off those Darkstars. Across the universe, the Spider Guild (also now under Styx's control) put forth propaganda that the Omega Men had mercilessly destroyed a peaceful Darkstar commune. Styx already possessed one Heartstone, which she entrusted to the Spider Guild leader. She also charged the Spider Guild with acquiring another Heartstone, which lay on Earth, in the depths of the Mariana Trench. They did not know that the last Heartstone also lay on Earth. It was in the possession of a woman named Lianna, who one of several children produced by the Guardians of the Universe and Zamarons. As a child on Oa, she discovered her Heartstone and was transformed into an adult. After this, Lianna and her mother, Mother Zed, moved to Earth (the Philippines) and began teaching the universal truths they had learned from the Heartstone. Portions of vega were under L.E.G.I.O.N. protection, and this attack drew their commander, Vril Dox II himself. But when meeting with the church's Chancellor M'jyn'r (an Citadeller), explained that nothing was above their holy Lady. Dox uses a technology called Silica, attached to his skin, which allows him to interface with remote computer systems. The Chancellor claims the attack was in retaliation for a so-called "Styggian slaughter" but Dox uncovers reason to believe they were searching for something else. While Ryand'r sleeps, his powers of nuclear fusion detonate, damaging the Omegans' ship. Dox tracks them by following Ryand'r's energy signature and set course when he was interrupted by the Guardians of the Universe. They implored him to intervene in a matter because of their restricted involvement in Vegan affairs. They bade him to travel to Earth — to stop the Omega Men. Tigorr salvaged a Zeta Beam transporter from the Rann-Thanagar War, which at first they could not get to work. But when frustrated, the machine inadvertently transported them to Earth, the Philippines. There surprisingly was another Vegan religious leader called Mother Zed. She and her followers stood to watch the Spider Guild decimate the Philippines. Their patroness was none other than a Zamaron warrior who was overtaken by the Spiders. They attempt to steal Zed's Heartstone, but the Omega Men arrive in time to save her. Though Elu extended his force field around them, they found that the land had been utterly destroyed by the Spiders. She recognizes a kindred spirit in Ryand'r, who is also attuned to the Heartstone. Before they could plan their next move, they were confronted by Dox, who'd also gathered a plethora of Earth's heroes for support. The Omega Men were confronted on Earth by John Stewart, Superman and the Teen Titans, who were recruited by Vril Dox to supposedly arrest them for their part in a slaughter in Vega. John recognized Mother Zed and attempted to return her home. She lashes out at him but soon explains that the Heartstone she and Mother Zed had protected was one of four essential talismans borne of the universe itself. It brings power to those who possess them. Doc puts Superman to sleep with his "biopathy". Tigorr attacks Dox, who has charged them with violation of the natural order on behalf of the Guardians. The Spider Guild await the stolen Heartstone. The Omega Men are teleported away by their ship's Zeta Beam. Lianna joins them, claiming they are the universe's last hope. With the help of the Spider Guild, Lady Styx continued to drain the energies of her followers across Vega. Lianna explains to Tigorr that the Spider Emperor has a third Heartstone. When Styx acquires the fourth, she'll bring all four together and "kill god" and swap places. Elu became angered that Ryand'r and Lianna had led them into a new mess, which triggered Darkfire's power. On Earth, Superman confronted Dox about his motives against the Omega Men. Dox says the Spiders have harnessed dark matter: the fiber of the universe. After calming them down, Tigorr split the team up to stop the Spider's plan. He initially excluded Lianna, but she asserted her prowess as a Zamaron warrior. Dox visits the Emperor, who had contracted him to capture the Omegans. Since he failed, the Emperor takes Dox captive with the dark matter. They find the Spiders' ship in suspended animation and are ambushed by thousands of small energy beings that act in concert. After they attacked, they assembled a singular form and inquired after Ryand'r "what am i?" Lianna brought Tigorr to the Emperor himself, only to run up against his most horrific nightmare: Styx had transformed all the deceased Omega Men and Lianna's mother into zombie slaves as well! Zac Efron plays Cameron in the WB's now canceled tv show Summerland. Efron plays the love interst of Nikki (Kay Panabaker). His character goes though the up and down relationship of nikki and himself as well as the ups and downs in his own home with his father. As the show progressed he askes Nikki (Panabaker) to a festival in which they spend the evening at his beach front home. the end up almost kissing but are interurpted by Cams father and Nikkis Aunt Ava (lori loghin who plays the guardian and aunt of Nikki.) who walked in the home and were kissing. Then after that mishap Niki goes to Cams house where as she leaves he leans in and kisses her. After that they spend time together and constantly get into fights. While later on in the show Cam confronts Nikki and says that his father is a drunk and then shows her a swelled up bruised arm that came from his father. Cam stays at Nikkis house and then his father goes to rehab but when he goes to pick up Cam and Nikki from the movies he is drunk. Later on in the shows second and final season Cam and Nikki break up for good. Its a sad ending but everyone knew it was coming.

Drawing from a vast variety of different influences, Coz specializes in technical rock guitar, blues, and a little flamenco. “I’ve had a guitar slung around me since as far back as I can remember. BiographyeditDarkwater was formed in 2003 from members of the band Harmony. Short a bass player, Darkwater hired Karl Wassholm through an internet music site.[1] In 2006 they began writing, rehersing and recording for their debut album "Calling The Earth To Witness". The album will be released on September 11th in the United States. Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos is a Private Sectarian and Catholic School located at M.H. Del Pilar Road, Sta. Isabel, Malolos, Bulacan.It is formerly known as Immaculata Academy of Malolos established on May 1937 with its old campus located at Basilica Minore, Malolos City, Bulacan. IAM later transferred to its new home in Sta. Isabel in 1980. It is known for its callname "Holy", known throughout the city. In 2006, HSAM was granted Level II Accreditation Status by PAASCU or Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities. Historical SketcheditIn response to the need for foreign missionaries, Father Arnold Janssen established three Congregations dedicated to the work of evangelization, the SVD, SSpS and SSpSAP. In 1912, the First SSpS came to the Philippines in Tayum Abra. In May 1937, four sistes, namely Sisters Dolorata, Sister Lourdes Malabuyoc, Sister Marista and Sister Vianette - came all the way from Manila in response to the challenge put forth to the SSpS Congregation by the late Archbishop of Manila, Most Rev. Michael Doherty, to extend its educational apostolate in Bulacan, making Malolos City its base for educational ministry. Later in 1919, the foundations of the Immaculata Academy was laid out, making Sister Dolorata superior-principal of the elementary school that existed as a parochial school in Malolos. The house of Don Antonio Bautista of Pariancillo Street became the first building that housed the sisters' cloister and Grade 5 and 6 classrooms. The Grades 1-4 were located at Tantoco House across General Torres Plaza. In 1938, the primary grades were moved to the Jacinto building near the Bautista house. Up to the early 1940, the Sisters conducted their mission with High School department already operational. The need for a permanent site for IAM was uppermost in the minds of the sisters. It was a problem that called for a immediate solution. The Sisters entered into a lease contract with the Fr. Enrique Reyes allowing them to use the right wing of the Malolos Cathedral. With the help of Dr. Luis Santos, a known Malolos philanthropist and benefactor, the new edifice joined Malolos skyline in 1940. By 1941, IAM's kindergarten, elementary, and high school departments were inside one ground. In 1947, the plan to create a boys' high school department was proposed but materialized only in 1950. However, the plan lasted 15 years totally phasing out in 1965 unitl the school graduated the last batch in 1968. In 1980, a piece of land in Sta. Isabel was purchased by the congregation. This was IAM's future site and answer to the needs of a broader educational apostolate in the province. Gradually, it was developed in 1986, putting up the High School Department building and covered court. The High School moved to Sta. Isabel in 1986, The Elementary and Administration Building moved in 1989 while the Preparatory stayed in the old campus. In 1990, IAM assumed its new name: Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos. In the school year 1999-2000, after 32 years, the administration re-accepted boys in the High School Department. In the year 2003, The Arnoldus Building was put up to help solve the problem of double-single sessions of grades one and two. It also provided a bigger audio-visual room for school activities. In 2006, a new Laboratory Building was put up to extend the services of the High School Laboratory, paving the way for integration of the four major science branches studied by different levels, namely Integrated Scienece, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Facilities of the CampuseditHSAM is divided into different buildings but connected with each other, except the Kinder and Prep Department. It has 5 buildings namely, Administration Building, Grade School Department Building, High School Department Building, Arnoldus Building and Laboratory Building. The Educational OperationseditAdministrative Department The current principal of Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos is Sister Corazon Guieb, SSpS effective June 2007. She was preceeded by Sister Minerva Lorica, SSpS. Grade School Department The Grade School Department's operations are located at the right wing of the campus. There are 5 sections per grade level,all having the same name. They are named after some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, namely Counsel, Knowledge, Understanding, Fortitude and Wisdom. The building has three floors accomodating all classrooms. High School Department The High School Department's operations are located at the left wing of the campus. There are 6 sections for Freshman and Sophomore Year, and 5 sections for Junior and Senior Year effective June 2007 due to the increase of enrollees. The sections are named after the Good Values of Filipinos. 1st Year Department I - Maunawain (Adviser: Mrs. Catherine Galvez) 2nd Year Department II - Matiyaga 3rd Year Department III - Masikap

Bah weep graaagnah wheep ni ni bong, is a phrase from the Transformers series, it is their universal greeting, recognised by all the races, and has been used to neogotiate peace. It indirectly helped save the Autobot homeworld, Cybertron from destruction. It's most notable use is in the The Transformers: The Movie, originally brought up by Kup, as he and Hot Rod (Transformers) were about to be attacked by Sharkticons. The tactic seemed to work initially, as the Sharkticons ate the energon Kup and Hot Rod were handing out, but when the energon ran out, they attacked anyway. One supposes the conclusion to be drawn is that it was the promise of energon, not the universal greeting, that functioned diplomatically in that case. However it is later put to good use, after they crash land on the planet of Junk (Transformers) and are attacked by the native Junkions, the Autobots were in the process of fighting a losing battle with the Junkions, when Hot Rod used the universal greeting. The Junkions repeated the phrase, then repaired the Autobot wounded, and began a party, dancing around, as well as repairing the Autobots ship, allowing them to attack Unicron, and thus helped to save Cybertron. Cultural ImpacteditThe universal greeting used by Kup and Hot Rod appears in the PC game Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne: when clicking numerous times on the hero Illidan, he responds with "Bah weep graaagnah wheep ni ni bong! It's the universal greeting." It has also been noted as creating one of the most humorous or dissapointing (depending from a fans view), scenes in the series. The story is about an elf named Yorsh, who is orphaned when his elf camp is flooded. Afterwards,he meets a woman named Sajra, who has a dog. Upon finding that the dog does not have a name, he brings it upon himself to name it. The three of them meet a hunter named Monser, who has just killed a rabbit. Yorsh is horrified by this, and he uses his magic to bring the rabbit back to life.

Founded in 1988 and run by George(TM) and his all rounder little dumb Otis (God bless him) The pool bar at Amalia apartments is truly unique and in my opinion by far the best on the island. At the last count it had over 400 spirits! George, the owner, says that it has the best prices on the island and will make you a promise that if you find the same drink elsewhere at the same price or cheaper, just tell him the name of the bar and he'll give you that drink for FREE for the rest of your holiday! 2 years on and still nobody has succeeded but give it a go, you never know your luck. The pool bar also has Sky Sports all day on 3 televisions, Karaoke, a pool table, free organised barbeques, Greek nights, quiz nights and after hours pool parties (clothes optional). It also features table football, 2 dart boards TOP TIP: The bar plays very lively music till roughly 2 am so if you are light sleepers it's better to drink lots and rent a TV from George so you might have a better chance of nodding off! There are ALWAYS a few surprises laid on for the guests over the season like Greek nights, Karaoke and after hours pool parties!

Following rejection by all of the panel judges after her rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I will always love you', Kelly's Father entered the audtion room to confront Simon Cowell. This confrontation ended after Cowell said "She is absolutely terrible and you are partly to blame for your daughter's disillusionment, you've obviously been encouraging her and that's just crazy." When initially asked by the judges what she thought of her abilities, Northall commented :- "I may not have the looks but I have got the X Factor. I'm like Celine Dion, Whitney and Mariah, I'd give my vocals 10/10." Following the audition Simon Cowell commented :- "You sounded like a dog barking. She is a phenominal motivational speaker (Sample at http://www.praisetabernacle.com/sermons/sermons.htm March 11, 2007) who has traveled across the country speaking to variuos organizations, motivationing both youth and adults. She is also a certified trainer and works with various aspects of recruitment of foster and adoptive families. 10 Years ago when 2 children were left at the door of Elaine Newkirk, her life took a drastic change. She took the 2 boys in and adopted them, although one was classified as having brain damage and several other disabilities. The 2 boys ages 2 weeks old and 15 months old joined Elaine and her 4 months old biological son's family. Elaine was a single mom at the time. Determined to make changes in the fostercare system which the boys biological mother had grown up in.
