Please be advised that ["Joe Fosco"] is a [Chicago] celebrity! Please be advised, unlike Wikipedia's featured celebrity, ["Paris Hilton,"] Mr. Fosco helps sick people and has established a major "Charity-Network" in the [City of Chicago]; please be advised, Wikipedia's featured media mogul, [Lord (Conrad) Black] has joined Mr. Fosco's "Charity-Network." Please read the 3rd-party-verified sources below (which are extremely CEREDIBLE sources; Chicago Sun-Times is the largest Newspaper in Chicago):
[Joseph A. Fosco], born Joseph Anthony Fosco, on March 19, 1973 (Chicago area Socialite, [Chicago Archdiocese]-Affiliate and Spiritual Philanthropist).
[Joseph Fosco] grew up in the [Chicago] area and was raised [Catholic]. During his teenage years, Mr. Fosco, who from age 13 was raised by a widowed mother, experienced emotional difficulty, therefore, knowing how hard growing-up can be, Mr. Fosco vowed to devote his life to helping people in need. A short while later, Mr. Fosco began helping the elderly and the sick on a full-time basis.
In 1999, Mr. Fosco helped create the Franklin Charitable Foundation in Chicago Illinois. Its purpose was to provide help for the elderly and the sick.
In 2001, the Franklin Charitable Foundation, via Mr. Fosco’s spiritual-direction, established a “fund” for children with emotional problems. The “fund” was established in the name of [“Sahara Moorer,”] a 15-year old runaway that was murdered in Chicago at the time. http://www.thecrusade.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=20115&mode=linear
In 2003, The Franklin Charitable Foundation was dissolved and reincorporated as “NPI-Franklin Organization.” Since then, Mr. Fosco has served the organization as its “honorary” Vice-Chairman. The organization’s new role provides “philanthropic consulting” and “strategy building” for perspective “Catholic” donors (it is not a fundraising organization).
Declined. The proposed article is not suitable for Wikipedia. While it does look like Mr Fosco may meet the standards of notability, what's given here doesn't seem to be written in a neutral point of view. I assume the first paragraph is a message to AFC reviewers, not meant to be in the article (in any case, I don't see what evidence there is for Paris Hilton to be Wikipedia's "featured celebrity", or for Conrad Black to be it's "featured media mogul"). In addition, I have a few problems with the sources provided - the first, on thecrusade.net, looks like a forum and I'm not personally aware of whether it would pass as a reliable source, but in any case the mention of Mr Fosco there is very brief. The rest of the sources are similarly deficient in content - about all I learned about Mr Fosco from them is that he likes to eat dinner a lot, and Stella Foster likes to point this out. Without some more non-trivial mentions in reliable sources, I'm going to have to recommend not creating the article. Confusing Manifestation(Say hi!) 03:52, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adam Jordon was born on January 9th 1989 in Compton California.Raised the hood he became a murdera by the age of six. He was charged with his first crime at the age of 13. Right around the same time he recorded his debut album "Straight outta Connellsville", in its first week, it went gold. Then he sold a whopping 500 copies the next week. Which kept his fans waiting for his second album entitled "Love em and leave em; breed em and eat em". The first hit of his second album was entitled "Ashley's Lullaby', and it was about the rape and murder of his number one ho. Let it also be known that he beat that pussy like it owed him money. Some would call his style of rap emo-thug to the extreme, he rocked the mic like a vandal, lit up the stage, waxed the chump like a candle. His mentor Vanilla Ice taught him to be true to his gangsta roots. With a body count in the hundreds of thousands, adam jordan aka #1 stunna is wanted in most countries. And he is banned from four continents. He now lives in a thugz mansion with his number 1 biotch the adorable ashley, where he drops hershey syrup down her vagina and licks it clean. One love, ya boy, da truest, da bluest, da rudest, not a nudest, adam jordan aka #1 stunna... PS i just killed your parents =)

Comment: I've looked over the sources, and I'm not sure they establish notability. Hoovers maintains information on tens of millions of companies, and Cool Hunting seems to be maintained by all of four people, so I'm not convinced these sources establish corporate notability. For this purpose, it helps to show that well known publications have taken notice of the company (the best sources for this would be articles or reviews in well known newspapers or magizines, including Consumer Reports or product review magazines). The Dirty Bastard Association consists of a group of men from Long Island. They are men who are like-minded in their dirtiness. Nevertheless, there are varying degrees of dirtyness, and those who practice it (as opposed to think it) are usually vaulted to the top of the group. The founding president, Al, has long been considered the dirtiest bastard. Other dirty bastards include Nick, John Hank, and Mike.

The OCR-A font was developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
to be readable by the computers of the 1960s. The OCR-A font is still used
commercially in payment advice forms so that a lockbox company can determine
the account number and amount owed on a bill when processing a payment.
A site license for the OCR-A font is very expensive, so someone undertook to create
a free font. He started with the MetaFont definitions, used FontForge and potrace
to construct a TrueType font, then assigned each glyph a Unicode code point.
The shape of each glyph was defined by ANSI as described in their document
ANSI X3.17-1977. Those shapes were coded in the MetaFont language as strokes
by Tor Lillqvist and Richard B. Wales. Their work is in the .MF files under
MetaFont Sources. The MetaFont program and the OCR font definitions are available
as part of the TeX package from the CTAN archive.
ANSI specifies a character spacing of between 0.09 and 0.18 inch.
The American National Standards Institute makes the X3.17-1977 document
available on their web site for a modest fee. Unfortunately the X3.17-1977
document can not be put here, for completeness, since ANSI has copyrighted on it.

Ioannis Papaioannou was a famous Greek musician and composer. most active in the 1940's, he wrote many songs, some of which are today considered classics of the rebetiko style. These include: "Pente Ellines Ston Adi", "Kapetan Andreas Zeppo", "Prin To Charama Monachos", and "Fovamai Mi Se Chaso". His style retains much of the musical quality of the classical rebetika of the likes of Markos Vamvakaris, although the thematic content of the lyrics tends not to focus as much on the typically dark topics of earlier rebetika; i.e. drugs, death and prison.

Stacey Bendet, a New York native, always loved pants – from the skinny and slim to the belled and bell bottomed. While studying at the University of Pennsylvania, she garnered herself quite a collection of denim. To quote Stacey, “stacks and stacks of it.” But denim became the ubiquitous blue and Stacey was in constant search for that perfect pair of pants. Pants that were perpetually flattering, perfectly form-fitting, long enough to wear with the highest of heels, and signature in a striped style. So, after years of vintage shopping, tweaking, tailoring, snipping and sewing, she set out to make her own pants. Something unique. Something different. Something Stacey. And with that, alice + olivia was born.
alice + olivia launched in 2002 at Barneys NY and was an instant success –- everyone wanted Stacey’s perfect pants. By incorporating interesting fabrics, an ultra-flattering fit and a stylish retro vibe, alice + olivia quickly gave today’s retro sophisticate something to embrace other than denim as a daily staple. “Stacey Pants,” as her friends still call them, became an overnight phenomenon. Shortly after alice + olivia’s launch, Andrew Rosen, the founder of multi-million dollar brand Theory, teamed up with Stacey to become her business partner in the company. From that moment on, the phenomenon continued to grow.
In 2003, Stacey successfully introduced the alice + olivia cashmere sweater collection as the perfect compliment to her pants, and the following year, she launched a line of well-received swimwear. In the fall of 2004, Stacey made the leap into menswear when she developed anthony + mo, a brilliantly colored men’s cashmere sweater collection, which she named after her two best college pals. The super soft sweaters, which launched at Barneys and Scoop NYC are the perfect boy sweaters – the ones you want to buy for your boyfriend and steal from his closet.
In 2005, alice + olivia expanded into seasonal collections featuring those must-have pants, as well as signature tops, sweaters, dresses, jackets, shorts, denim and more. Stacey secured her place on the fashion map as the leading go-to brand for today’s retro sophisticate when alice + olivia brought in over $10 million in sales and reached over 450 stores worldwide, ranging from elite domestic accounts Barneys, Scoop, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, to leading international accounts, including Harrods in London and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. During the same year, Stacey signed on to redesign the cult 80’s CB Sports brand for its resurgence in the fall of 2006 and she was presented with the first ever “Life in D” award from Ford, which “recognizes women who combine talent with that little something extra that allows them to break free from convention to enjoy life with style and attitude.”
2005 also marked the year that alice + olivia launched its first-ever boutique, which opened in East Hampton to rave reviews. In April 2006, the first alice + olivia Los Angeles boutique opened on trendy Robertson Boulevard, followed by a flagship store in New York’s Bryant Park in October 2006. Boutiques in Nolita and Southampton shortly followed in June 2006, and growth has only continued. alice + olivia recently opened a ___location in Greenwich, and is eagerly planning two more in the Los Angeles area. Each store offers alice + olivia signature pieces, as well as items exclusive to the stores, including a few of Stacey’s favorite complimentary brands – from Dylan’s Candy Bar and Malini Murjani handbags to Plum Bunny scented bangles and Moby’s teany teas and gifts and oh-so-much more. Today alice + olivia is sold in more than 500 stores nationwide, generating millions of dollars in sales. It is alice + olivia's 5th anniversary this year and the growth for 2007 is estimated at an 80-100% increase over last year, totaling 25 million. The company anticipates further growth with sales reaching over $45 million in 2008.
Stacey is continuing to keep busy. This year she designed an alice + olivia yoga line of comfortable tops and pants, drawing inspiration from her own love of the sport, and she is preparing to launch alice + olivia shoes for Payless in spring 2008. The collection consists of mod and colorful (and wonderfully inexpensive) platforms and flats that reflect the line’s funky attitude. She also will be debuting a kids’ line of beaded and sequined frocks that alice + olivia fans have come to know and love.
While she’s busy at work designing all those spectacular pieces, Stacey still finds the time to lend a helping hand. She avidly works on charity fundraising for the Young Lions at the New York Public Library, the New York Museums, the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Charitable Trust, and Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti Organization, in which she styled the video for director Jeremy Blake. Stacey’s latest venture, the alice + olivia/Enso Scholarship Fund was created with longtime friend and fellow University of Pennsylvania alumni Josh Fink. This program will send one deserving student from an underdeveloped country to The University of Pennsylvania. A devoted Ashtanga yoga student who practices with legendary guru Eddie Stern daily at 6 AM, Stacey loves flea markets, traveling and chewing bubble gum.

What is the most common path Emcee's seem to follow these days? The better question would be what is the end result of an emcee's journey? The answer for many is next to nothing. That's what Eric Miller, more commonly known as E. Millz, is trying to avoid. With a clever style and smooth approach to the microphone, there is no denying that E. Millz is blessed with the attributes to do so.
E.Millz was always searching for a way to express himself. Coming from a family with a long history in music, he grew up under the impression that music was an outlet for expression. He started writing poetry and short stories before the age of 10, dreaming of what a better life would be like. Growing up with a single mother who often struggled to take care of her two children, he was forced early on to take on the role of the man of the house. E.Millz always had something to feed his need for expression.
A hip hop fan since he was a child, E.Millz faced a turning point in 2004. Struggling with depression stemming from his home life, he gained a new passion for rap after being introduced to Mic G, his early rap counterpart. The two formed a hip hop duo and began recruiting local talent to form the group "Prophecy". This experience would prove to provide growth in E.Millz talent, helping him experience many of his "first times" in his hip hop career. In June of 2005 he would receive news of perhaps the greatest life changing experience he had ever encountered. He was informed he was going to be a father. This forced him to put his life and career into perspective. He quit high school to work in an effort to provide a good life for his son, hoping his child would never have to flirt with the poor lifestyle he had faced himself as a child.
After quitting school, E.Millz lost touch with his counterpart Mic G and began to focus on a solo career. Soon he was kicked out of his mother's house and forced to begin life on his own at the age of 17. He spent most of his free time writing, rapping, and plotting what he wanted from the hip hop lifestyle. After multiple local performances, he searched for local talented artists to collaborate with. It was at this time that he met Zikki and Bonez. Impressed by their rapping abilities, he immediately began cutting tracks with them. After a very successful first show with the pair, they knew that they had discovered more then just your average hip hop partnership. It was then that Breathe Eazy Inc was born.
Since the forming of Breathe Eazy, E.Millz has developed his emcee abilities and is focused on expressing himself to the world. With over twenty performances under his belt, he is ready to take on whatever challenge the game may throw at him. Fueled by a passion for music and the love for his child, E.Millz is aimed at creating new music daily so the hits will never stop.

POLIS Literary Magazine is a student publication at Villanova University. The magazine produces an issue near the end of each academic semester. A circulation of between 300 and 400 copies is distributed at various locations around campus. The magazine features writing and artwork by Villanova students and professors. Each issue features creative nonfiction, poetry, short fiction, and black-and-white photography focusing on a central theme. The editors of POLIS aim to allow students to achieve their intellectual and artistic potential by providing a medium for them to share their ideas and creativity with the community. The Greek word polis represented the city-state in ancient Greece, and it was also a forum where citizens could achieve their intellectual and creative potention. Based on this ancient model, the magazine works to create a similar forum for the students of Villanova University.
The first issues of POLIS were printed in the early 1990s. At this point, the publication served as collection of short fiction, poetry, and artwork by students and professors. The publication was much smaller than its current form.
During the fall 2002 semester, POLIS underwent a renovation in both content and appearance. The magazine expanded in size to its current 8.5 by 11 inch size and was printed on magazine paper for the first time. Additionally, begining with this issue, the focus of POLIS's content shifted to personal essays, while still featuring a smaller number of poetry and short stories. At this point, black-and-white photography also became a key facet of each issue.
Each issue of POLIS is comprised of a featured topic section and other sections in every issue. For each issue, the editor in chief picks a central theme, and students and professors submit personal essays, poetry, short fiction, and artwork relating to the themes. Past themes are listed below:
Fall 2005: My Favoite Things
Spring 2006: Influences
Spring 2007: Perspectives
Fall 2007: Mistakes
Each issue also includes special sections surrounding specific issues in the arts and culture. Critics' Corner features reviews of art and entertainment. Food & Dining features reviews of local restaurants. Unauthorized features articles about literature and authors. ...Of Things Said features essays on grammatical issues.
POLIS is completely student run. POLIS is funded by Villanova University's Office of Student Development. POLIS is advised and operated out of the Villanova University Honors Program. However, all students are allowed to submit work to POLIS or be a member of the production staff.
