The Riverboys are a group of locals from Temple Terrace, FL that enjoy outdoor activities. They are most noted for their tree house that was built across the Hillsborough River from Florida College. Most of the Riverboys attend a small private school named Florida College, while some have gone on to attend the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College.

The Treehouse

The treehouse is two-stories and is nestled among three oak trees. The lower floor of the treehouse is screened in, while the upper deck is open-air. There is also a fire pit on the ground floor in front of the tree house. A wooded path has been cleared from the south end of Riverboy Isle in order to access the island by boat.

Speedy Otis is the pseuydonym for a highly renowned journalist, screenwriter and musician. During his 30-year caraeer, Otis has published music, articles and stories and screenplays under various monikers including Zane Irving, Irving Zane, Wil Runyon, Van Lingle Zuckerman, Irving Melrose Jr., Bob Stinziano, Stuart Goldman, S.L. Goldman, Wahee Troger, Renate Lemn, Jeanie Rackle and Otis Borgaderay, and simply "Otis." Otis' work has garnered him a reputation as a "muckraker," "poison pen artist," "yellow journalist," and curmudgeon. Otis in-print tirades have found him likened to artists as disparate as H.L. Mencken and Lenny Bruce Tom Wolfe and famed gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. As regards his work as a musician, in 1975 Otis formed the Speedy Otis Review which he described as the "worlds first all-Jewish, Country Western,Science Fiction, Wrestling Band." Otis' band did, in fact include several professional wrestlers, who would sometimes offer to engage in battles with members of the audience. Needless to say, they were soon banned from the club circuit in their native Los Angeles, especially after serious injuries were renendered to a number of audience members.

Today, Otis has become a veritable recluse. He reportedly divides his time between residences in Pearblossom California, and Paris France. Otis has not released any new material in the last five years. His last sale was a screenplay entitled "Snitch," which described the underground world of tabloid journalism. The film was purchased by Phoenix Pictures, who attached hack producer Oliver Stone to direct. The title was changed to "Spy Vs. Spies." Thus far, though the company claims it is still a go project, there is no release date. Otis has officially taken his name off the project after it was ruined by that "hideous hack, Joe Esterhaz."

"I hate the film business," Otis says. "But it's the only place you can make money today."

Otis is reportedly working on a new script which is an expose of corruption within the world of Yiddish Music.

ThreeDExpress.com is a web development company started in 1998 by an entrepreneur who felt there was something missing from the entertainment industry, fun. He created an array of sites over the last two years that enabled publicly traded companies and individuals to communicate through a number of different mediums.

They felt that companies are increasingly dependent on the Internet as a primary source of exposure about their products and services, and felt that good communication with customers includes a well-developed website which satisfies a company's informational needs. They provide companies with regularly updated websites that will significantly expand the reach of their story.

Currently they are developing several new products that they expect to shock the web development world. Many of those products are expected to be released in 2008.

RotoHog is a fantasy sports game that provides budget-based, high-roster-turnover games for American Baseball and Football. RotoHog is also the provider of nba.com's NBA Stock Exchange game. Like most fantasy sports games, the core elements of RotoHog games involve building a team and setting a line-up to earning points. To this traditional core game, RotoHog adds a liquid market for players that all team managers use to trade players. Players can be traded almost at any time and player prices reflect the up-to-the minute supply and demand.

RotoHog leagues and competitions have been sponsored by football great Marshall Faulk and hall of fame baseball players Fred Lynn, Wade Boggs, and Ozzie Smith.

RotoHog also provides a social networking platform that allows users to compete in unlimited size leagues grouped by ___location, team allegiance, company affiliations, or local watering holes in addition to smaller traditional private leagues made up of a dozen or so friends.

Comparisons with other Fantasy Sports Games

RotoHog differs from other fantasy sports games in several ways:

  • Player trading floor prices continuously change based on the buying and selling behavior of team managers. Pricing in other games is either set by the game provider or is based directly on the on field performance of the players.
  • Team managers can increase their initial budget by making judicious trades.
  • Team managers have an limited number of transactions and can make roster changes up until just before games start.

RotoHog differs from fantasy sports stock simulations in that the goal of the game is to score the most fantasy points by fielding the best team of players. Stock simulation games focus on increasing your portfolio value by anticipating price movements of players.

Criticisms

As a hybrid between traditional fantasy sports games and fantasy sports stock simulations, there are many predictable ways for team managers to increase their budgets through day trading. These managers can then assemble teams with essentially no budget constraint. This gives managers with the time to play the market a financial edge over managers who do not.

Lachlan Ruffy is an Australian actor and singer. He trained with the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Australia and is trained in opera and crooning.

Acting Career

Ruffy was trained by the National Institute of Dramatic Art.

Most known for his roles in musical theatre, Ruffy has been seen in such notable musical roles as Fagin (Oliver), Patroclus (Paris), Pish Tush (The Mikado), Father Bear (Goldilocks) and Starkey (Peter Pan) along with many others.

His non-musical theatrical career has included the premiere of Just Another Day by Bruce Vincent, the title character in MacBeth, Tom Travis in Elizabeth Rex and Kent in King Lear.

He has appeared in numerous films, most recently Cut with SolarFilms and Anxiety with Men of the Hour. He is in negotiations for a remake of the Breakfast Club, as well as the pilot for an up-and-coming science fiction series, Metalysis, with Heretypical Films.


Music Career

Ruffy began formal singing lessons at the age of 5, although he claims he was blissfully unaware of the fact. He was a member of the Canberra Boys Choir for eight years.

He was trained in Opera in Canberra, and was trained in crooning by Canberra Music Tuition.

He learned guitar under the late, great Takdeem Proceedor. He currently plays a vintage Gibson guitar which he calls "Kevin".


Personal Life

Ruffy is the youngest of two children. He was raised in Canberra. He is currently unmarried, and has, to his knowledge no children.

New Jersey Southern Railroad

The New Jersery Southern Railroad (NJS) began as the Raritan and Delaware Bay Railroad (R&DB), in March of 1854. The R&DB was chartered to construct a railroad from the Raritan Bay to Cape Island, near the outlet of the Delaware bay.

Construction began in 1858, with the early tracks connected Port Monmouth to Lakewood and Whitings (Manchester) in 1860, and later to Toms River in 1866.

The NJS also served the resort areas along the New Jersey shore. It was part of the Sandy Hook Route, where New York City passengers traveling to the shore could board a steamboat at West 42nd Street and arrive at Atlantic Highlands an hour later at a waiting train.

In 1879, the Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ) purchased the New Jersey Southern Railroad, becoming its Southern Division. The CNJ railroad is now the North Jersey Coast Line of New Jersey Transit.

Today, the North Jersey Coast Line bypasses the Raritan Bay towns just South of South Amboy. Where the railroad used to spur off at Keyport and run through Union Beach to Keansburg, is now part of a walking path.
