Michael met and befriended Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski after sending a fax to their agent requesting a meeting. Although the two had never heard of him, they took the meeting and ended up producing the movie. He started his career in 1996 at Star Trek, where he was the assistant to Ronald D. Moore for three seasons on the television show Deep Space Nine.

Were the World Mine is a 2008 musical film directed by Tom Gustafson, written by Cory James Krueckeberg and Tom Gustafson. Were the World Mine is a magical story of empowerment that culminates in a touching love story - inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Were the World Mine stars Tanner Cohen, Wendy Robie (Twin Peaks), Broadway star Judy McLane, soap opera legendJill Larson, and Zelda Williams (House of D). SynopsiseditIf you had a love-potion, who would you make fall madly in love with you? Timothy, prone to escaping his dismal high school reality through dazzling musical daydreams, gets to answer that question in a very real way. After his eccentric teacher casts him as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, he stumbles upon a recipe hidden within the script to create the play’s magical, purple love-pansy. Armed with the pansy, Timothy’s fading spirit soars as he puckishly imposes a new reality by turning much of his narrow-minded town gay, beginning with the rugby-jock of his dreams. Ensnaring family, friends and enemies in this heart-wrenching chaos, Timothy forces them to walk a mile in his musical shoes. The course of true love never did run smooth, but by the end of this moving musical comedy of errors based on director Tom Gustafson’s prolific award-winning short film, Fairies, the bumpy ride comes to a heartfelt conclusion. With vibrant imagery, a first-rate ensemble cast and innovative music rivaling the best of pop/rock and contemporary Broadway, Were the World Mine attempts to push modern gay cinema and musical film beyond expectation. Early CareereditMikael Rickfors was born in Stockholm, Sweden 1948. From 1968 he was the leadsinger and bass guitarist in popular Swedish band Bamboo. The band released two singles before breaking up in 1970. The HollieseditIn 1972 Rickfors joined popular British rock group The Hollies as a replacement for lead singer Allan Clarke who had left to pursue a solo career. Rickfors soon achieved an international hit as his first single with the group "The Baby" reached no. 26 in the UK as well as charting in various other territories. The band followed up by releasing the album Romany with one song "Touch" written by Rickfors. This was a transitional period in the band's history and though the group seemed to be winning a new found in respect in the United States their fortunes in the single market were declining. The group suddenly received an unexpected boost as a single extracted from the group's previous album shot up the American charts. This created a problem aas the song featured former singer Allan Clarke's distinctive vocals. The Hollies were now forced to undertake their first major US tour without their signature vocalist. The tour was not a commercial success. The band now recorded a second album Out On The Road which featured a major songwirting contribution from Rickfors. On both albums and on stage Rickfors also sang, played guitar, bass, congas and keyboards. Out On The Road was effectively shelved, however, only being released in Germany and Spain. SoloeditThe experiments having seemingly failed Rickfors departed The Hollies as Allan Clarke re-joined. In 1975 Rickfors released the first of 11 solo albums. 1988 saw the release of his hugely successful Vingar album. In 1990 he embarked on his first collaboration as part of the Swedish supergroup Grymlings (named after Rickfors' farm). He is currently working on a new album for 2008 and regularly tours Sweden. SummaryeditThe Runner by Cynthia Voigt jumps back to when Dicey and possibly James Tillerman were infants. It takes place in 1967, early in the school year. Samuel "Bullet" Tillerman (17) is the protagonist in this story. Bullet has no real friends at school and has conflicts with everyone at home. He feels his father tries to have too much control, or as he refers to it, "boxing in." He goes out of his way to avoid his father's boxes, and to get his mother out of them as well. When his father tells him to get his hair cut, he thinks a while on how to do as he is told without accomplishing what his father wants. In the end, he shaves all his hair off. He then continues to shave all the stubble every day, demonstrating the great pains he goes to to trouble his father, who insists he doesn't want to see him until he "looks like a human being again." This is not a problem for Bullet, who now no longer has to dress up for dinner and can eat after running his personal 10-mile course, as opposed to before. He is passing his classes and everyone admires him, but he has no friends at school. Also, nobody is sure as to how he is passing, as he often sleeps through class and never brings his books. He is the track team's star runner due to the fact he runs 10 miles a day at home, while the longest actual course is only 5 miles in the entire book. He consistently takes first, and is the only person to run cross country more than one year in a row. When Bullet is asked to work with a black runner, Tamer Shipp, also appearing as an adult in Come a Stranger, he refuses. He claims it's because he works alone and only for himself, but wonders if everyone else is right when they accuse him of being racist. He doesn't mind being off the track team, or tries to tell himself so, but when a longtime friend, Patrice, turns out to be part-negro, Bullet comes to accept that blacks are just like whites, perhaps even more likeable. He agrees to return to the team to work with Shipp. They share a love-hate relationship for some time, with their long-running conflict being the difference between "black" (Tamer's preference) and "colored" (Bullet's). Later, in Come a Stranger, Tamer states that he admired Bullet and loved him, but was never sure if Bullet felt the same. Bullet later decides to enlist for the war in Vietnam, to avoid the "box" of the draft. He tells Tamer to be sure to avoid the war. Bullet dies at age 19 in the war, causing his mother, later known as "Gram" to the Tillerman children of all other books in the Tillerman Cycle, to throw the telephone through the window at the phone company. Bullet is also responsible for the torn up boards at the foot of the barn doors witnessed in preceeding and succeeding books. General InformationeditJoseph Ward (Born 3 June 1980) is a New Zealand born Rugby Union Footballer currently playing in the English Guiness Premiership for London Wasps. He joined London Wasps after previously appearing in the Super 12 tournament for the Wellingotn Hurricanes, and the NPC for Otago and North Harbour. Despite lack of opportunities and game time in New Zealand, he made a strong impression in his debut season for London Wasps in 2005. Aggressive with the ball in hand and at the breakdown, he has proved himself a formidable opponent for all Premiership hookers. His displays on the pitch in the following seasons continue to demonstrate his ability and Ward is now regularly challenging ex-France captain Raphael Ibanez for the number 2 shirt. Early Career and International HonourseditJoe started his rugby career as a flanker, only moving to the front row after being selected for the NZ U19 squad. A few hours tutelage from NZ U19 manager Shaun Fitzpatrick, and a couple of short notice warm up games, it was decided that Joe had huge potential as a Hooker. He has also captained New Zealand at U21 level, where his performances helped him gain a contract in the Super 12 for the Wellington Hurricanes. Off FieldeditJoe is a supporter of the 'Tacheback' campaign (raising funds for research into testicular cancer), whereby men grow and trim their facial hair into the most ridiculous shape possible. He was the main influence for his Wasps team-mates to sport their own embarrassing shaped moustaches for the charity. Some of the players had profile photos taken during this time for media purposes, and these are still used today when starting line-ups are announced for Guiness Premiership or Heineken Cup games on Sky Sports. When he is not playing rugby he enjoys martial arts and relaxing away from the game.

During the 2006 season, Vassallo set a team, and quite possibly league record by eating well over 100 hot dogs durings Nashua Pride home games.
Running CareereditVassallo ran in the Maine Marathon on October 7, 2007. While winning the marathon and qualifying for the world famous Boston Marathon, Vassallo smashed the previous Maine Marathon record with a time of 2:26:54. Vassallo finished over six minutes ahead of the second place finish, and his time qualified him to be in competition to finish quite high in the Boston Marathon coming up in April.

Gammarus chevreuxi is a relatively newly discovered species, as first found by Sexton in 1913 (1). As such, relatively few studies have centred upon it. The organism is very similar to Gammarid locusta, but there are certain constant characters which set it apart, for example, the antenna, the fourth sideplates and the third uropods (1). It is found in various places in England, such as the Severn Estuary, and Portugal (2) Sourcesedit1)Sexton E.W (1913), Description of a new species of brackish-water Gammarus (G. chevreuxi, n. sp.), Journal of the Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom, 9(4), pp. 542-545. Powerball is a video game for the Sega Genesis released in 1991 from Namco Hometek. It was re-released for the Wii's Virtual Console in North America on March 24, 2008 at a cost of 800 Wii Points.[4] This version is virtually identical to the original version. Referencesedit
