Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico in 1963, Quintero Herencia is a promising literary voice from the Puerto Rican literary scene. Member and co-editor of the Poetry journal Filo de juego (1982-1987) the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña published, in 2002, his early poetry under a volume entitled El hilo para el marisco/Cuaderno de los envíos (2002). This volume received the Puerto Rican Pen Club Poetry Prize in 2004. Quintero Herencia has published other collections of poetry such as La caja negra (1996, Isla Negra) and Libro del sigiloso (2007, Terranova). Quintero Herencia's poetry is complex and contains an intense desire for experimentation and baroque imagery. In Quintero's recent poetry a concern for the specific nature of the political gesture of poetry is a recurrent topic. As an essayist Quintero-Herencia established himself with Fulguración del espacio: Letras e imaginario institucional de la Revolución cubana (1960-1971) (Beatriz Viterbo, 2002), a contextual and critical reading of the crucial debates which defined the Cuban intellectual field during the 1960’s. His second book, La máquina de la salsa: Tránsitos del sabor (Ediciones Vértigo, 2005) has been hailed by Puerto Rican critics as the most comprehensive critical balance on the Salsa phenomenon. As a Professor, Quintero-Herencia teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Latin American and Caribbean literatures and cultures at the University of Maryland, College Park (USA). He also teaches Literary Theory. Before going to the University of Maryland, he taught at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras and Brown University.

L'As des As ("The Ace of Aces"; alternate English title: "The Super Ace") is a 1982 French-German comedy film starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and directed by the renowned director Gérard Oury.
In 1916, during the thick of World War I, a German and a French fighter ace by the names of Gunther von Beckman (Hoffman) and Jo Cavalier (Belmondo) manage to drag each other out of the sky. An argument (and resulting fistfight) about who is to be who's prisoner is rudely interrupted by artillery fire, forcing both to stick together in order to survive. In a humorous side scene, corporalAdolf Hitler (Meisner) is berated by his frustrated First Lieutenant Rosenblum for his clumsiness.
20 years later, Jo and his team of boxers travel to participate in the Olympic Games in Munich. On the train Jo meets young Simon Rosenblum (Ferrache), the grandson of aforementioned First Lieutenant Rosenblum and a Jew, and a beautiful reporter named Gaby Delcourt (Pisier), who is to interview Hitler. When his grandfather doesn't show up at the station, Simon asks Jo, whom he idolizes for his WWI days, to accompany him to his grandfather's bookstore. Arriving there, Jo gets into a fight with Gestapo agents who are demolishing the place, and subsequently he is asked by the whole Rosenblum family to hide them. Knowing no other place, he takes them to his team's hotel, which also happens to be Gaby's domicile. Jo begins to flamboyously flirt with Gaby, who seems to return his affections.
The next morning, just before they depart for the stadium for the opening ceremony, Jo re-encounters his old friend Gunther, now a field marshal of the Luftwaffe. He fast-talks Gunther into borrowing his car, which he gives to the Rosenblums for their escape to nearby Austria. Due to a critical blunder of the Rosenblums' part, however, they are caught before they reach the border, and only Simon escapes. The boy phones Gaby, who informs Jo. Torn between his affection for Gaby, his sense of duty for Simon, and the need to see his team in the games (though not in that order), Jo decides to settle the matter as quickly as possible and goes of to fetch Simon.
However, things do not go as planned. The Gestapo is hot on Jo's heels, a bear drives him and Simon from their forest camp, and they temporarily pick up its cub, whom they spontaneously name Beethoven. Finally they are captured and taken to the next police station, where the rest of the Rosenblums are also held. Gunther arrives to secure the release of his friend, but Jo won't abandon the Rosenblums and takes Gunther (for all apearances) hostage. As they drive to the Austrian border, Gunther advises Jo to go with the Rosenblums since he is now considered a fugitive criminal. Reluctantly, Jo agrees.
However, due to circumstances the group misses their way and ends up right in Hitler's Berghof residence on the Obersalzberg. Mistaking it for a simple hotel, they are taken in by the grounds' caretaker, Hitler's (fictional) sister Angela (again played by Meisner). As it so happens, Gunther has been invited by Hitler to the Berghof for a staff conference, along with Gaby (to whom Gunther has also taken a fancy to). Jo is quick to find out about the residence's true nature, however, when he comes face to face with Hitler himself while following his boxing team's exploits through the radio in the latter's personal office. He procures an officer's uniform, reveals himself to Gunther and Gaby, and devises a plan to rescue the Rosenblums by stealing Hitler's personal car, while (a very reluctant) Gunther is to create a diversion by eloping with Angela Hitler.
The film ends with a furious car chase between Jo, the Rosenblums and Gaby in one car, and Hitler and his adjutants in another, during the course of which the eldery Rosenblum reveals himself to his old subordinate. Startled by the unexpected encounter with his former commanding officer, Hitler crashes into a duck pond, while Jo and company succesfully escape to Austria (humorously hinting on the Anschluss which would follow two years later), where they also encounter Beethoven again.

Taylor Cavanaugh Slutcliffe is truly an inspiration to present society. Defying all odds, Taylor has managed to dodge police incidents of various sorts, humiliate herself beyond belief, and in conclusion, have an incredible time
From day one Taylor was always curious in new things. Recieving her very first bottle of Grey Goose vodka at the tender age of 1. On first consumption, she managed to shoot 5 shots, and still crawl down the stairs. Her young accomplishment was revered by all. It was not soon after Taylor began to experiment with other substances. She smoked her first blunt at age 2, under this high, she managed to find a cure for AIDS. This is an astounding accomplishment in itself, but it does not stop here. Taylor's parents were completely infatuated with their daughter's bizarre, yet remarkable, talents. They immediately enrolled her into a school for special children, just like herself. Here, they believed, she could thrive and fine tune her abilities.
Upon starting her first day of school, Taylor was immediately the most revered in her class. Her incredible abilities to do 4 strike-outs in a row was remarkable, and unexplainable by her teachers. SHe was champion at every Beer Pong tournament, dominated at quarters, and put Das Boot to shame. Her teachers began to enroll her in even more advanced courses, hoping she could discover even more talents. She studied "The History of Marijuana; How to Get a Better High". Here she was top in her class for rolling blunts, and superb at blowing glass pipes.
Her talents advanced even more in Brewing 101. At first she began with a simple beer, but she didn't stop here. It is in fact she, who invented Bud Select. Which any beer drinker knows is remarkable in taste and flavor. Taylor continued by brewing her very own moonshine, potent to even those who have been making moonshine their entire lives.
Taylor became the ultimate partier. She hosted parties every weekend at her house, displaying her multitude of alcohol products, and talents. She outsmarted the police everytime, even managing to walk away from being handcuffed, at no consequence to herself from her parents. Her legend will go down in history, and while many thrive to be like her, no one will acquire the same talents she was blessed enough to uphold.

Various Artists is a three-piece, Post-punk revival band from Galway, Ireland. The band members consist of three friends, Conor Palmer(vocals/lead guitar),Emmett Connaire(drums/backing vocals) and Lorcan Martyn(bass guitar), who formed in September 2007.
The bands three members Conor, Emmett and Lorcan met while living in the same housing estate. Emmett had played the drums for on and off for a couple of years beforehand, Conor picked up the guitar because he needed to pick up some girls and Lorcan picked up the bass because he was impressed by a friend who played the bass. It seemed only natural that the three would form a band. They began practising in Emmett's basement, and soon wrote a couple of songs. In the early days, they were often criticized by their neighbours for their loud, incessant and "crap" music. After writing their first "songs" they grew to fame amongst their friends leading to a wave of fans joining their Bebo page. They are currently writing some more songs.
Conor was influenced by bands such as the Strokes,The Libertines and the Cribs. Emmett was influenced by Damian Marley, Jamie T, Pearl Jam and Nirvana. Lorcan was influenced by Marcus Miller, Jack Johnson and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. All three also share a love of Muse, the Arctic Monkeys and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Emmett has cited his favourite musicians to be Dave Grohl, Travis Barker, Keith Moon, John Bonham and Steve Gadd. Lorcan's favourite bassists are Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Declan Collins and Flea. Conor, in the words of his band mates, idolises Alex Turner, Mark Ronson, Ryan Jarman and Matt Bellamy. On questioning he had no clue who Jimi Hendrix was....
In the beginning Various Artists limited themselves to Free-Form Jazz-Fusion so that if anyone told them they were terrible they could claim:"You just don't get jazz". However, on realising that this ploy would not work forever, they moved onto Post-Punk Revival, claiming it sounded cooler than just being "Indie". In between these two genres they also experimented with guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-folk, ska-heavy-electonica-dance and hawain, ditching the latter due to unavailabilty of ucaleles.
Andreas Martyn, close friend of the band, has stated:"It's really a magical bond. That three people could love and hate each other so much is a wonder. There are times when the three are a inspirational power-trio who drive forward the boundaries of music, debate, philisohphical thinking and on occasion, have shattered the laws of physics. Other times Emmett and Lorcan have pinned Conor down and assed him in the face. It's a one-of-a-kind bond".

Singer/Songwriter
Song 69 (A tribute to Blur)
Conor has been both critically acclaimed and criticised for his brash, honest and often brutal lyrics, as shown in One of these Days:"One of these days you're gonna get yourself stabbed".
However lately he has been reaching inside himself and coming to terms with his anger and this is being reflected in his songwriting. He has said:
"I's always just tryin' to vent my anger in my songs, yanno? It was like I felt good about nowt. But now its like I realise there's good stuff in the world and it's great, innit? I've written a few love ballads for this bird I like, she slapped me in the face a coupla times, but i think its goin well....".
Oddly, in this interview he spoke with a Sheffield accent.
Although they have not been awarded for any of their musical exploits, the band members have grown to fame outside the music scene. Conor holds the Guinness World Record for Most Rejections in One Day(47)and Emmett is the Grand Master of his own Martial Art Emmettcon (a martial art which has become more popular than any other and has been described by Bruce Lee as "terrifying to witness and impossible to defend against"). Lorcan is the spokesperson of the l'Oreal Moisturiser For Men range.

An inline media encryptor (IME) is a device inserted between a system or computer and some storage device, such as a disk drive, in order to encrypt data stored on the device and decrypt data retrieved from the device. The IME allows the computer and the device to be platform agnostic, so that the encryption does not depend on specific hardware and software, only on the communications specification for the particular devices. This avoids the phenomenon of vendor lock-in as it applies to the computer and/or storage device, but may introduce it with respect to the IME, although in priciple it should be possible to design standards-basedcommoditized IME devices that would be vendor-independent. An IME used for classified or sensitive information may employ key material that is issued by an authority other than the IME manufacturer.
An IME is one way to provide Full Disk Encryption without software, the other way is to integrate the encryption into the storage device, or perhaps even the computer itself (as with a controller card).
Example:
IDE bus IDE bus
[computer]----------[IME]---------[disk drive]
IME devices are known to exist for several I/O bus types, including parallel ATA (PATA/IDE), serial ATA (SATA/eSATA), and Universal Serial Bus (USB). An IME need not be a Type 1 Encryptor; commercial IME devices exist in the open market.

Conestoga Traction was aside of road interurban street car system that radiated star-like from Lancaster. It ran through Amish farm country to the towns of Srasburg, Coatesville, Quarryville, Pequea, Marietta, Elizabethtown, Manheim, Lititz, Ephratta, Adamstown, and Terre Hill. By its connections to adjacent trolley lines such as Philadelphia and West Chester (later Red Arrow), West Chester Street Railway, Schuylkill Valley Traction, Reading Transit, Hershey Transit, and Harrisburg Railways, one could ride by trolley two ways from Philadelphia to Harrisburg, although slowly. One route went West Chester-Coatesville and the other Pottstown-Reading. In the days of dirt roads and horse drawn wagons and buggies, the trolley was a fast and reliable way between towns and villages. Such lines also provided delivery of farm products to markets such as milk and produce. Most of these lines did not survive paved highways and the Depression. All were gone by 1950.
