Asian BoyZ was created in Long Beach for protection against the Longo 13 Gang in the Eastside and Northside areas of Long Beach because of Territorial tensions between the Asians and Latinos in that area. Currently in the Los Angeles Area the main sets are ES ABZ, NS ABZ in Long Beach and CS and WS ABZ in LA and Van Nuys ABZ. In Long Beach membership of the gang is around 200-300 gang members and 80 members in Van Nuys. ABZ is spread out from the Westcoast to the Eastcoast with sets even in Denver to Massachusetts. In total ABZ has around 3000 members nationwide.Some Sets claim the Crip Gang especially in Long Beach which is a Crip City. Mostly an Asian Gang some sets have Latinos, Blacks, and Whites in their sets mostly in the Eastcoast. Primary race of this gang is Cambodians with few amounts of other Asians such as Laos, Vietnamese, Korean, Filipinos.

Life

Besa Kokëdhima is an Albanian pop singer born on May 20, 1986. She has participated in several Albanian music competitions including Kenga Magjike and Top Fest. She won Top Fest 5 with her song, "Engjejt Vrasin Njelloj." Some of her hits include: "Unik", "Pa yllin tend", "Tani Te Dua", and "Si Montra."

History

East Linn Christian Academy has been impacting the lives of students in the Mid-Willamette Valley for twenty years. During the 2003-2004 school year school year we had the opportunity to educate 282 students representing 64 local congregations.

ELCA was created to be an alternative educational choice for those families who wanted to focus on excellent academics with integrated scriptural truths.

Since the first day the doors of ELCA were opened, in 1982 by founders Harold and Dorothy Grove, the Lord has touched the hearts and minds of many young people.

Our mission statement emphasizes East Linn's commitment to serve parents by educating their children in a God-centered, Scripture-based, educational environment - as we equip these children academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually to serve Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

At East Linn Christian Academy, God is continuing to do a significant work in the lives of students. The young people that move through our program are growing intellectually while they develop spiritually. Caring faculty and staff unselfishly pour themselves into the lives of the students making absolutely sure that there is something very unique about an East Linn Christian education. This approach to education becomes evident as you see our students develop a Christian world- view, personalizing their faith enabling them to become valued workers in the community, in their churches, and on the mission field.

What continues to happen today at East Linn happens because of the faithfulness of our supporters who uphold us in prayer and give of their time, talents and money.

Mission

An Outgrowth of Faith Alot can be learned about an organization by the values it admonishes. Values outline what is or is not important. East Linn Christian Academy is committed to operating, both corporately and individually, in a way that reflects these values.

Spiritual Resources and Commitment

   * The Bible is our standard for all belief, instruction, practice and policy. Our Family Lifestyle Statement is grounded in Scripture. (2 Timothy 3:16)
   * Our work cannot be done without a staff committed to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Matthew 12:30)
   * Our faith is expressed as a balance of head and heart, intellect and emotion. (Galations 4:18)

Qualifications for Leadership

   * We recognize that power can be misused, and that leaders must be careful not to mistreat this authority. (1 Peter 5:2-3)
   * We believe that the only protection against the abuse of power is a strong accountability to the Almighty God and to each other. (Acts 11:1-18, Acts 15:1-31)
   * We recognize the God-given gifts and abilities in women as well as men. (Joel 2:28-29)

Character and Quality of Service

   * We intentionally focus more on meeting the needs of others than on preserving or growing in our organization (2 Corinthians 2:17, Phillipians 2:19-22)
   * We practice humility in an effort to avoid self-congratulation (Proverbs 27:2)
   * We strive to pay close attention to detail at all levels, so as to offer Christ our best work. (Colossians 3:23)
   * We create our programs with the intent of being excellent but not ostentatious, attractive but not sensational. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Our Relationship to Other Ministries

   * We view our role as supplementary to the local church, which is the first line of defense for our families. We never intentionally compete with church programs or funding. (Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 3:10-11)
   * We fully understand that we are but one form of service ministry within the Body of Christ. We actively pursue creating relationships with other worthy ministries that share our spiritual commitment. (1 Corinthians 3:5-9)

In Summary East Linn Christian Academy Administration, Staff and related Board of Directors will never willfully violate the above values. It is both appropriate and encouraged for anyone related to ELCA, at any level, to hold us accountable for this pledge.

Kane Silom (born 8 July 1983 in Sandringham, Victoria) is an Australian journalist. He is currently the Dubbo reporter for Prime News. Silom has been with Prime since 2007 when he joined the Bendigo newsroom.

Early life

Silom was born and raised in Melboure's bayside suburbs. Born in Sandringham and raised in Chelsea, he attended St Leonard's College. Later, he enrolled at Monash University where, in 2003, he studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism). After finshing that degree Silom found he hard to get break in the business. He went back to university where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Eduction.

Career

Whilist compleiting his Journalism degree Silom completed interships at the Sunday Herald Sun and AFL Record where he built up invaluable experince.

He then stepped out on his own and reported on the hockey for Sportal during the Commonwealth Games.

But Silom's major break came while doing his education degree when he started as a cadet reporter at the Myrtleford Times in Victoria's high country.

His second major break came eight months later, after he saw a job with a regional television station in Bendigo, Victoria. He moved to Bendigo, where she spent the next 4 months working at Prime Television.

In 2008, at 24, he joined Prime TV - Orange, where he currently works at the Dubbo bureau.

Other

Silom also has a keen interest in field hockey where he has been on the reserve umpiring for the National Hockey League. In 2006 he umpired a number of international lead up matches to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Personal life

Silom is engaged to Anthea Forder, an accountant who he met through a mutual friend.

There are three well resourced classrooms, an Arts / Technology / ICT Room, a Library and an administration block. The swimming pool, large sheltered sandpit, adventure playground, netball courts and fields are facilities which are popular among our children and well used by the community.

HISTORY Tauhei School opened its doors to the children of the early settlers of the district in 1909. The original school was converted from a workman’s hut and was better known then as “the shanty on the hill”.

The present Tauhei School was built in 1914. A new block consisting of a classroom, working bay and staffroom was built in 1955.

In 1968 the old original block was remodeled and an additional prefab classroom transported to the school. This was later purchased by the Board of Trustees and fully refurbished by the PTA.

In 1969 the senior pupils began attending Morrinsville Intermediate School.

The whole school was remodeled in 1992/93.

In 2002 Hoe-O-Tainui School and Tauhei School merged. The playground from Hoe-O-Tainui was re-sited at Tauhei.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Tauhei Combined School is concerned with:

More recently, and following a white paper on ‘Modernising the Planning System’, the Scottish Parliament passed the Planning etc (Scotland) Act 2006 ^[2], which seeks to amend certain parts of the 1997 Act; including development plan preparation, development control (now ‘Development Management’ in Scotland) and enforcement. However, the 1997 Act still remains the principal planning act.

Mildred and Richard Loving

Mildred Delores Jeter (1939-May 2 2008)and Richard Perry Loving (1935-1975) married in Washington DC in 1958.

"We didn’t get married in Washington because we wanted to marry there. We did it there because the government wouldn’t allow us to marry back home in Virginia where we grew up, where we met, where we fell in love, and where we wanted to be together and build our family. You see, I am a woman of color and Richard was white, and at that time people believed it was okay to keep us from marrying because of their ideas of who should marry whom." (Loving for All)

Sheriff R. Garnett Brooks of Caroline County, Virginia, where the couple lived, entered their house at 2 a.m. in July 1958, took them to jail and charged them with unlawful cohabitation, on the grounds that the District of Columbia's marriage certificate was no good in Virginia. The couple pleaded guilty, and the Circuit Court Judge of Caroline County, Leon M. Bazile, sentenced them to a year's imprisonment, to be suspended if they left Virginia and did not return before July 1983 (25 years).

In 1963, while visiting Mildred Loving's mother, the couple were arrested again for traveling together. Richard Loving wrote a letter to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy to find out if Civil Rights Act would allow the couple to travel freely. The couple was referred to the American Civil Liberties Union and assigned an attorney, Bernard S. Cohen.

"It was a terrible time in America. Racism was ripe and this was the last de jure vestige of racism -- there was a lot of de facto racism, but this law was... the last on-the-books manifestation of slavery in America." (Bernard S. Cohen, Quiet Va. Wife Ended Interracial Marriage Ban)

On June 12, 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously declared: "There is patently no legitimate overriding purpose independent of invidious racial discrimination which justifies this classification. The fact that Virginia prohibits only interracial marriages involving white persons demonstrates that the racial classifications must stand on their own justification, as measures designed to maintain White Supremacy.... There can be no doubt that restricting the freedom to marry solely because of racial classifications violates the central meaning of the Equal Protection Clause."

The couple had three children, Donald, Peggy, and Sidney. Donald died in 2000.

Richard Loving was killed in a car accident in 1975.

On June 12, 2007, Mildred Loving released a statement via Freedom To Marry, in support of marriage equality: "I believe all Americans, no matter their race, no matter their sex, no matter their sexual orientation, should have that same freedom to marry. Government has no business imposing some people’s religious beliefs over others. Especially if it denies people’s civil rights."

Mildred Loving died of pneumonia in her own home in Caroline County, Virginia, May 2, 2008.

In April 2008, an group of law educated individuals, attending an international law conference in Washington D.C.,^[3] undertook a fight on behalf of the Åland Islands demanding it's independence. The group used the chance and protested while a Nordic foreign minister was in the Capital City on April 11th.^[4] The Government of Finland has not commented on the protest or the freedom fighters, fighting to "Free the Åland Islands".

This group is growing today, and has according to a facebook group website over 100 members.^[5]

The group is planning a demonstration in Finland in June against the oppression of this modern day colonial power, as the group itself describes it.^[6]

The self proclaimed freedom fighting group has made the news in Iceland when the groups spokesman, Anna Pála Sverrisdóttir, was quoted in Iceland's most respected newspaper, [Morgunblaðið][1], the 21st of April 2008.^[7]

The government of Finland has not commented on the demonstrations.

This article concerns development in international law and politics concerning the right to self-determination.

In April 2008, an group of law educated individuals, attending an international law conference in Washington D.C.,^[8] undertook a fight on behalf of the Åland Islands demanding it's independence. This is a very interesting and important development in international law and politics, as awareness of the people's right to self-determination, seems to be developing rapidly after Kosovo independence claims arose.

Manoj D. Antani (b. 6 June 1954) is the current Regional Passport Officer in Ahemdabad, Gujarat (INDIA) and has served in this role since 2003. He was formerly the DSP (District Superintendent of Police) in Baruch. Abraham Bowman (October 16, 1749-November 9, 1837) was an 18th century American frontiersman and Revolutionary War military officer. He and his brothers Isaac, Joseph and John Jacob Bowman were among the earliest settlers in Kentucky. His grandson, John Bryan Bowman, founded Kentucky University and the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky.

His father George Bowman and grandfather Jost Hite were both well-known Virginian pioneers and were the first to explore and settle Shenandoah Valley.

Biography

Born to George Bowman and Mary Hite (the eldest daughter of Jost Hite) on the Bowman family estate on Cedar Creek (near Strasburg, Virginia) he was one of the first justices of the peace in Shenandoah County during 1772 and 1773 as well as being appointed a justice in Dunmore County, Virginia in 1774. He and his brothers arrived in Kentucky during the mid-1770s, later helping establish and settle present-day Fayette County, Kentucky. He was also a close friend of fellow frontiersman Daniel Boone.

He enlisted in the Virginia militia shortly before the American Revolutionary War and, as a lietuenant-colonel, he served under Colonel Peter Muhlenberg in the 8th Virginia Regiment, otherwise known as the famous "German Regiment" of the Virginia Continental Line. He participated in battles at Ticonderoga, Monmouth, Germantown and Valley Forge. Made a full colonel, he assumed command of the regiment after Muhlenberg was made a brigadier general and led in regiment during the Battle of Brandywine. Among the Kentucky veterans awarded land grants by the federal government at Clark's Grant, Bowman received the largest with 7,590 acres.

Resigning his commission in 1779, he returned to Kentucky with a party of 30 families that fall and founded Bowman's Station in Madison County, Kentucky. Settling in Fayette County two years later, he also participated in defending Kentucky against indian raids with his brother John, Colonel-Commandant of the Kentucky County Militia.

He later became a prominent settler in Kentucky County being elected of the first bench of justices in Lincoln County, Kentucky and represented Fayette County in the Kentucky constitutional convention in 1825. He eventually acquired 8,000 acres six miles southwest of Lexington and later constructed one of the first brick houses to be built in the state.

He died in Lexington, Kentucky on November 9, 1837 at the age of 88. He was survived by his wife, Sarah Henry, and their children. The Keeneland race track was later built on the site of his home, the Keenland plantation, amounting to nearly 12,000 at the time of his death. ^[13]

Nigahiga is a small, famous group on youtube submitting videos to their fans. It started with Ryan Higa, making videos for fun and to loose som weight for restling. Now, he has stopped restling and are only making movies together with four other guys, also living in Hilo, Hawaii. They call them self the "Yabo crew" and all their films are "Yabo productions". Revelation is the first studio album with vocalist Arnel Pineda (current lead singer of Journey) and features 11 new songs, 11 re-recorded greatest hits and a DVD of a live concert. Penned by Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, two singles were released to radio in April 2008, the distinctively Journey-sounding "Never Walk Away" and the haunting ballad "After All These Years", both of which have now received extensive airplay on rock stations throughout the US.

As a young boy growing up in Philadelphia. John Holloway didn't fit in. So one day, after beating Micheal Jordan, Labron James, and Kobe Bryant in a 3 on 1 basketball game 659-1(Kobe Cheated), he decided to leave the city and start his own society. As he was leaving he wanted to gain citizens on his way out by singing Lynard Skynard's Free Bird(which he wrote for them as a Christmas present in 1973 b.c.). Next on his mind was a ___location. He had it narrowed down to Canada, Mexico, Jupiter, and France. Realizing that all of those didn't exist, he decided to move to Atlantis.

Ten Years later, after his city was a huge success. John once again became bored and needed something to do. So after heavy thought, he came to the conclusion that he wanted to be a Rock Star. Being a Certified Gutiar Hero (John Ended World War III With his wicked Solo's and Far Out Rift's), He would become the Lead Guitarist. At Drums, John Found a man who goes by the name of John highberger the Genius Athletic Astronaut Cowboy King. The Bass would be played by a man that can only be described as one word, MichealJahosavinski(Which is his name without spaces). Now the only thing that was left was the lead singer. After long nights of thinking and drinking, mainly drinking, actually there was absolutely no thinking, it was all just drinking...The band decided to sign the Cool Aid Man.

	Then one day, while touring Transulvania, John laid eyes on the Most Beautiful girl he had ever seen, her name was Megan Weston(i had Zooey Deschanel...but megan is better...dont be mad at me). After saving her life from a castle surrounded by dragons and Wizards...and trolls...yea big trolls. Dying of his woonds he would be burried in Utopia. A couple years later he would live out the rest of his life battling Gods on the top of Mount Olympus.  The End...or is it...yea...yea its the end...bye

History

The sisterhood of Delta Nu was founded on October 8, 1971 at Dickinson College. Prior to this date, the sisterhood was the Delta chapter of the national sorority Chi Omega. Our chapter wanted to offer bids to women of minority status, however our national organization did not permit us to do so.

We vigorously fought to change these discriminatory policies. Chi Omega refused to alter their policies, so, we as the Delta chapter decided to return our national charter and form a local sorority. To represent this change, we kept the name “Delta,” and “Nu” was added to mark the formation of a new sorority—thus Delta Nu was born. We adopted new symbols and ideals. And most importantly, we were finally free to determine members of our sisterhood—regardless of race or religion.

Current Involvement

Since 1971, Delta Nu continues to grow strong. Each year, we raise money for various charities. Our largest philanthropy is called "Mr. Dickinson," which donates more than $4,000 each year to Safe Harbor , a long-term shelter which provides housing and self-enhancement programs for homeless and potentially homeless single adults and families. Because Delta Nu is a local sorority, we strive to help the Carlisle community. Other service projects include: The Ronald McDonald House, the winter fair at the Mooreland Elementary School , the YWCA, and Project SHARE. In addition, we lead efforts for Up 'Til Dawn—a fundraising event which raised more than $40,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital this year.

Sisters Functions

Delta Nu's social events include: pumpkin carving, an annual Thanksgiving dinner, theme parties with fraternities, formals and Nu Night—our annual alumnae night. Na Fir Bhreige (which can be translated from Gaelic into English as "The False Men") is a set of three standing stones on the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. They lie on the northwestern slope of Blashaval.

The stones are set in a line that runs WNW to ESE, nearly in alignment with the peaks of Blashaval and Maari. They protrude 0.7m, 0.5m, and 0.6m above the peat, although they are probably embedded very deeply and stood much higher when originally erected. They lie 21m and 35m apart.^[14]

The name derives from two local legends. One is that they mark the graves of three traitors who were buried alive. Another is that they are three men from Skye who deserted their wives and were turned to stone by a witch.^[15] ^[16]

The stones are located at OS grid reference NF 8875 7176 ({{coord|57.627366|N|7.217072|W}}). They can be reached from the A865 about 3 miles northwest of Lochmaddy. One must then walk about a mile up Blashaval.

As a young boy growing up in Philadelphia. John Holloway didn't fit in. So one day, after beating Micheal Jordan, Labron James, and Kobe Bryant in a 3 on 1 basketball game 659-1(Kobe Cheated), he decided to leave the city and start his own society. As he was leaving he wanted to gain citizens on his way out by singing Lynard Skynard's Free Bird(which he wrote for them as a Christmas present in 1973 b.c.). Next on his mind was a ___location. He had it narrowed down to Canada, Mexico, Jupiter, and France. Realizing that all of those didn't exist, he decided to move to Atlantis.
Ten Years later, after his city was a huge success. John once again became bored and needed something to do. So after heavy thought, he came to the conclusion that he wanted to be a Rock Star. Being a Certified Gutiar Hero (John Ended World War III With his wicked Solo's and Far Out Rift's), He would become the Lead Guitarist. At Bass, John Found a man who goes by the name of John highberger the Genius Athletic Astronaut Cowboy King. The Bass would be played by a man that can only be described as one word, MichealJahosavinski(Which is his name without spaces). Now the only thing that was left was the lead singer. After long nights of thinking and drinking, mainly drinking, actually there was absolutely no thinking, it was all just drinking...The band decided to sign the Cool Aid Man.
Then one day, while touring Transulvania, John laid eyes on the Most Beautiful girl he had ever seen, her name was Megan Weston(i had Zooey Deschanel...but megan is better...dont be mad at me). After saving her life from a castle surrounded by dragons and Wizards...and trolls...yea big trolls. Dying of his woonds he would be burried in Utopia. A couple years later he would live out the rest of his life battling Gods on the top of Mount Olympus. The End...or is it...yea...yea its the end...by

John was born in Pest (today the eastern half of Budapest, then a separate city) to a German-speaking family originally from Zemun (now in Serbia but then in Austria-Hungary). When he was 18 his family moved to Vienna. There, he studied law, but he devoted himself almost exclusively to journalism and literature, working as a correspondent for the Neue Freie Presse in Paris, occasionally making special trips to London and Istanbul. Later, he became literary editor of Neue Freie Presse,and wrote several comedies and dramas for the Viennese stage.

As a young man, Highberger was engaged in a Burschenschaft association, which strove for German unity under the motto Ehre, Freiheit, Vaterland ("Honor, Freedom, Fatherland"), and his early work did not focus on Jewish life. His work was of the feuilleton order, descriptive rather than political.
