Lake Edgar is was a natural fault scar pond on the upper reaches of the Huon River in Tasmania. Lake Edgar was actualy two small lakes that were created when the Edgar fault caused the plains below Mt Anne, on the upper reaches of the Huon River, to move upwards by little more than 6 meters causing the river to dam and divert northwards around Scotts Peak. The Lake was eventually inundated when the Lake Pedder was flooded as part of a hydro electic power scheme in 1972. Though Lake Edgar should not be confued with the Edgar pond which was created when the Edgar dam intersected one of the smaller tributaries of Lake Edgar. SourceseditTasmap productions, 1961. BackgroundeditMathuthu was educated in Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom. He holds a Diploma in Advanced International Journalism, a Certificate in Web Designing and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree. In 2000 he joined the Dispatch newspaper in Zimbabwe's second largest city of Bulawayo, and would later join The Daily News as their main correspondent in the Bulawayo Bureau. The Daily News was the country's biggest selling newspaper and was bombed twice [1] before it was eventually closed down by the government in 2003 [2]. As a correspondent for the Daily News, Mathuthu was arrested repeatedly on what the newspaper called "trumped up charges" [3] ranging from "trespassing at a police station to writing stories likely to cause fear, alarm, and despondency". In November 2001, Mathuthu and a colleague, photographer Grey Chitiga, were arrested after they allegedly witnessed the torture of a man by opposition supporters. [4]. Zimbabwe's state television reported that the men faced "kidnap charges" [5] for being present when a man was beaten to confess that he had taken part in a "government-backed" killing of war veterans leader, Cain Nkala. The Daily News said Mathuthu and Chitiga had in fact been arrested to prevent them from publishing an interview with an MDC activist it said claimed to know the full details of Nkala's murder. The case, like all others Mathuthu faced, was dropped before it went to court. As a government crackdown on journalists from the private media escalated, Mathuthu said he feared for his life, adding that "seeing men with fierce and lethal looks marching into our offices and demanding to talk to me at their offices had become customary" [6]. Also in 2001, Mathuthu, Daily News reporter Collin Chiwanza, photographer Urginia Mauluka, and their driver, Trust Mpofu, were assaulted by war veterans in Hwedza, 60 km south-east of the capital, Harare [7]. The journalists had gone to a farm after the death of two war veterans in clashes with a white farmer. Several veterans accused the journalists of being "sent by the English and the MDC". The journalists, who were beaten with bicycle chains, kicked and had their possessions -- including a camera -- taken from them. They were saved by by a Zimbabwean army soldier who was guarding the place who threatened to shoot the assailants. Mathuthu and Mauluka came worse off after sustaining multiple bruises. On an ostrich farm in Nyamandlovu, also in 2001, Mathuthu, was assaulted by war veterans in front of police officers. His paper accused police of doing nothing to stop the attackers [8]. They accused the journalist of having a critical tone regarding the land redistribution programme. He was left with a cut above the left eye and pains in his chest. On February 11, 2002, two petrol bombs were hurled at the Daily News office in Bulawayo overnight [9]. The attackers pasted President Robert Mugabe's campaign posters on the front of the offices. Overpowered security guards were told to leave the posters in place or the building would be burnt down. The attack came a month before Zimbabweans voted in a presidential election in March 2002, and on the day that European Union observers arrived to monitor the country's elections. Mathuthu left Bulawayo and went to Harare on the same day where he met the head of the EU's observer mission Pierre Schori and briefed him over the bomb attack. Mathuthu flew out to the United Kingdom on February 11, saying the choice was between "being a living coward and a dead hero". Within days, Schori followed Mathuthu out after the Zimbabwe government refused to renew his visa. The rest of the EU observers were later withdrawn, precipitating sanctions against Zimbabwe [10] [11]. United KingdomeditMathuthu, through a scholarship awarded by the Thomson Foundation in Cardiff, Wales, would obtain an Advanced Diploma in International Journalism and a Certificate in Web Designing which would later shape shape his media career. Mathuthu graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Glamorgan in 2008. Zimbabwe Internet RevolutioneditWith the Daily News, considered Zimbabwe's only source of independent news now closed, Mathuthu did not return to Zimbabwe, instead choosing to start an internet publication called New Zimbabwe.com in June 2003. The website tagged itself as "the first rolling news site updated 24/7" [12]. That self-given title has not been challenged, although several new Zimbabwean online news sites have since emerged to challenge New Zimbabwe.com [13]. The exact traffic details for New Zimbabwe.com are unknown, but a 2007 report said it had 500 000 hits per day, "and has grown to command the biggest market share after toppling the state-run Herald newspaper in late 2005, according to the web traffic site, Alexa.com" [14]. The novelty of New Zimbabwe.com's success has, perhaps, been the discussion forums/message boards [15]. With 35,000 registered members they are the most popular forum for free expression about Zimbabwean issues [16]. The forums have provided news content about the Zimbabwean mood for respected news organisations like The Guardian and Reuters [17]. In a polarised Zimbabwean society, New Zimbabwe.com's editorial stance which neither favours the Zimbabwe government nor the main opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has infuriated either side of activists who claim to pay less attention to the news site than the forums [18]. EditoreditMathuthu first became editor of a monthly magazine called the Fusion Voice in 2004 [19]. He quit within two months [20] saying: "In principle, the paper is a noble idea but there is an overbearing ideological confusion. There were a lot of nice people there but I wasn't enjoying it. There are many other things which made it virtually impossible for me to continue my association with that paper. I have explained my reasons to the newspaper owners and everyone can move on." In July 2007, Mathuthu announced the launch of the New Zimbabwe print newspaper [21]. The free distribution newspaper would be targeted at the Southern African community living in the United Kingdom. The project was a partnership with Jeff Madzingo, CEO of Destiny Financial Services Ltd. Mathuthu said the paper was "a natural progression, we have reached that stage where we need to explore opportunities in the print industry. The growth of Zimbabwean companies in the Diaspora affords us a unique opportunity to reach out to them and deliver their products and services to their target market in a way that was previously never imagined." Dead Frontier is a free to play, browser based zombie shooter game. This game is currently in open beta. Currently, this game has only six players max for each game, since this is still in open beta. Players can trade with other players and travel into the city. In the city, players can explore and search bodies for money, weapons, ammo, or armor. The player can use up to three weapons at one time, although there are over 60 weapons in the game. Some of the classes in the game have special skills, such as the doctor can administer treatments if the doctor is a certain level. The forum is a large part of the game, as players can advertise their services, like a engineer selling his repair services, or players can advertise items they are selling. The game revolves around a survivor outpost called 'Nastya's Outpost', where all the players call home, and is an important part of the game, as it is the only way to level up, and interact with other players. Currently at the time, some aspects of Multiplayer and Player versus player (PVP), are buggy, and the creator is working on a stable release. Many of the planned features are:

Martel van Zant (born August 18, 1985 in Tyler, Texas) is an American football player, a former starting Cornerback at the Oklahoma State Cowboys (NCAA). What Van Zant seperates from other football players at this level is that he was born deaf, without ear drums, after his mother suffered from chicken pox while pregnant. Van Zant works with an interpreter who accompanies him to classes, team meetings, practices and games. Despite his outstading performance as a Defensive Back (starter at Oklahoma State, Big12), he wasn't invited to the Combine, nor he was selected in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Dana Simmons was born on September 26, 1987 in New York City, NY in the borough of Brooklyn. He was his mother, Marilyn Ortiz's second child, and his fathers first. When Dana was 5 years old his parents had moved the family to Meriden, Connecticut. Dana blacked the f out in Meriden, so he decided to go stay in Atlanta, GA with his father after his parents divorce. He stayed there for 3 years before he got tired of it and ran away on a greyhound back home to Meriden. After returning to Meriden Dana earned his high school diploma, enrolled at Middlesex Community College and began working at Circuit City. A few years after returning home Dana got arrested for selling crack cocaine. Because he was in school, and had a job the job only required that Dana complete 3 years of probation. Personal LifeeditKenneth was born on August 01, 1989 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines. He is the only child of Mr. Artemio Maun Jr. and Mrs. Marlyn Navalta Maun. Born of a tarlaceno father and ilocano mother. Kenneth is 1/2 ilocano from La Union, 1/4 tarlaceno and 1/4 kapampangan. He grew up without the presence of his parents. He grew up with his grandparents in the mother side in Luna, La Union, Philippines. His mother is in Holland and his father is in Tarlac. Johnny was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in May of 1956. In the mid-70's, patriotism was on the increase. Johnny joined the Army Rerseves where he served mulitiple short-term tours with the Army Reserves as a Army Reserve Recruiter and Guidance Counselor. He believed he could make a difference by being known as a reputable and honest recruiter. He accomplished that. Johnny also served in law enforcement from 1978 - 2007, holding the rank of patrolman, through Chief of Police. Although Rife only served in part time capacities, he delivered a full time difference. In 2007, Chief Rife hired the first African-American Police Officer, which to this day, has caused a lot of waves within the community. While serving the community as a police officer, Rife also was credited with writing several "Spanish for Cops" books for police officers. Rife also made a difference, by teaching his "Spanish for Cops" at various police academies throughout his home state of Pennsylvania. To this day, he is a member of the PA Chiefs of Police Association in Harrisburg, PA. Rife can be seen always giving out teddy bears, or some token of appreciation to children while on duty. He always had a heart for the children, whose parents made wrong decisions, but the child is feeling the crime. Johnny was always the "peoples' cop". But his making a difference doesn't stop with law enforcement. Rife has written more than 8 Spanish textbooks for private schools, which are being used at various schools throughout the country. Johnny's books can also be seen in Mexico, as students are learning English, through his Spanish books. Let's not forget about his time he spent training doubles for movie icon, Jean-Cladue Van Damme. Johnny and Van Damme's number one stunt double, had previously made a video that featured terminally ill children. Again, giving back to the community in an unselfish manner. The Sons of Saint PatrickeditThe Sons of St. Patrick is an all male Catholic group of Boston College. Although it is predominantly an undergraduate group it does have several graduate students among its membership. Women are also permitted to speak before the group if they are offered a special invitation. The group has many traditions including having one or more of its members running the Boston Marathon for the Campus School, a school for disabled children. A green statue is traditionally held by the President of the group and as such is passed down from one president to the next. The details of the club are frequently private and there is a general rule of not permiting recording devices in meetings. The current faculty adviser of the Sons of St. Patrick is Fr. Paul McNelis, S.J., a professor in the philosophy department of Boston College.
