Delete per WP:NOTNEWS. I have improved the references at the article. But all the references I could find were written within a day or two of the event; there has not been lasting coverage as required for a Wikipedia article. BTW if the article is to be kept I object to the title. This is not a story about USC; it did not happen on campus. Rather, it was an off-campus murder of two people who happened to be USC students. It did receive a little more than the usual coverage because of the fact that the students were both from mainland China.
