This is a non-notable building fire that doesn't meet WP:GNG or WP:EVENTCRITERIA. No injuries or impact beyond the immediate community; no coverage beyond WP:ROUTINE local news reporting. ZimZalaBim talk 13:59, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Keep Enough reliable sources from 5 different states as far as Florida that prove this received more than just "local news reporting". Jeannete On Fire Martin (aha?) 14:18, 29 May, 2025 (UTC)
- If you are talking about this source it is simply another Gannett outlet printing the same syndicated content from The Arizona Republic. This isn't nationwide coverage, just a media conglomerate distributing its own content across different properties. --ZimZalaBim talk 14:23, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- How about the Las Vegas Review Journal, the Washington Times and the Texas Fox station?/ This was a well-known fire. Jeannete Burning in your Mind Martin (aha?) 14:28, 29 May, 2025 (UTC)
- Also examples of print syndication and broadcast syndication, either from Associated Press or network affiliates, etc. Trust me, there weren't newsrooms from distant states dedicating resources to cover a random building fire in Arizona. --ZimZalaBim talk 14:32, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- WP:SYNDICATED helps explain this. --ZimZalaBim talk 14:35, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment and question Thanks for the link. I had no idea about that policy. Would the fact that a firefighter died make the Southwest Supermarkets fire more suitable for an article? That's what I intended to write about originally, but if it does not,, then I don't want to waste my time on that! (besides I write at 2 chat lines and have a blog so Im not here writing every day). Thanks and God bless you! Jeannete La Chica mas Sexy Martin (aha?) 22:58, 29 May, 2025 (UTC)

- Delete ZimZalaBim is correct that syndicated online coverage via sister newspapers does not mean there is national interest in a minor local event. No indication of lasting significance. Reywas92Talk 19:18, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Delete, just a news story, not subject to sustained secondary coverage. I'm not interested in a brief burst of media coverage, whether local, national, or otherwise. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 🛸 23:19, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
