This article should not have been published to mainspace. It has sourcing, but I would argue it is an inappropriate fork from the director's main article. The conclusions here should also apply to the related articles James Gray's unrealized projects and Shawn Levy's unrealized projects by the same single-purpose user. If the decision for this article is not Merge, I would support Draftify, though I would prefer that the information itself is condensed on the director's main article. - Merge to Alexander Payne#Unrealized projects. This article meets the requirements to be a standalone article since it meets WP:NLIST: the overall topic is notable and the list items are properly referenced. This leads us to an editorial question: is the reader better served by a two separate articles. I say "no". Also, the James Gray (director) article is under 4,000 words in length (excluding references); our Article size guideline says there's no reason to split an article under 6,000 words.--A. B. - Keep: a perfectly standard WP:SPLIT meeting WP:NLIST as serving an informational and navigational purpose at least. - E. Ux 21:04, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
