Non-notable per WP:BIO -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 20:33, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep His entry in the Daat Encyclopedia (by the Herzog College) is very detailed and refers to many articles and entries in various reference works covering the subject; he was apparently quite prominent. הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 02:22, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Also, Otzar HaHochma (a database of rabbinic literature) finds about 280 results for his name. Based on a random sample, the majority of them are citations of the subject as a leading rabbinic authority (usually on the Jewish customs of Jerusalem). הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 02:37, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I have also found (with the Historical Jewish Press database) an article about him (solely) in Maariv, from July 14, 1960 (p. 3)—this is one of the sources of the Daat Encyclopedia entry. הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 06:08, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep An individual whose works demonstrate notability, demonstrated both within the article and in the additional materials listed by הסרפד, but whose article needs significant reworking. Alansohn (talk) 05:17, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I've moved the page to Amram Aburabia - the original spelling seems to be an alternate spelling used by some members of the same family, but never in reference to the article's subject. Note that many more English sources can be found with the correct spelling. הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 05:46, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Note that there are at least three variations on the spelling of his surname in Hebrew, all of which I have found used in reference to the subject: "אבורביע" "אבורביעה" "אבו רביע". There are many more spellings in English and French. הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 05:53, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per WP:BIO and Hasirpad. I added a cleanup-rewrite tag, as the page needs a thorough copyedit and the sourcing does not show up in a regular Footnotes section. Yoninah (talk) 13:05, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
