Created by User:Jackshaffer alongside Litter-Robot and Brad Baxter (Whisker founder), possibly for product promotion. This does not need to be a separate article apart from Litter_box#Self-cleaning_litter_boxes. — 🌊PacificDepths (talk) 21:50, 27 July 2025 (UTC)

- Delete Redundant to the self-cleaning litter box section of Litter box, and sourced almost entirely to product reviews. Vaguely promotional in tone as well. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 22:14, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi WeirdNAnnoyed, I appreciate your feedback. I agree that some of the tone and sourcing needs work. My intent wasn’t to promote anything, and I’ll revise accordingly. I also see the concern about redundancy with the Litter box article, and will review whether this is better suited as a standalone or merged section. Thank you for pointing this out. - Delete. I'm as big a cat lover as anyone else on here, but this is essentially spam. In normal circumstances, this is no big deal, but my concerns remain over the cumulative effect of spam here on keeping our charitable status. Bearian (talk) 01:23, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Bearian, I appreciate your perspective. I want to clarify that this was my first Wikipedia article, and I genuinely wasn’t trying to promote anything. I understand your concern about spam and take it seriously. I’ll review the article and make changes to ensure it aligns with Wikipedia’s standards. Thank you for taking the time to comment. - Hi Helpful Raccoon, thank you for your feedback. My intention was never to create promotional content. This was my first Wikipedia article, and I realize now that some wording and sources may have unintentionally appeared promotional. I appreciate your guidance and will revise the article to better align with Wikipedia’s neutral and verifiable standards. Thank you again for your input. Jackshaffer (talk) 21:03, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Delete As the person who made the articles' talk page and tagged Brad Baxter (Whisker founder) for deletion, I too, endorse this nomination. At first I was just doing some basic WP:AGF that the creator would flesh out and remove the promotional material over time, but that didn't happen. Being truly honest, the litter box article isn't long enough to deserve a split for this pretty niche topic. Yelps ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ critique me 07:07, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Yelps, thank you for your honest feedback. I appreciate you giving me the chance to improve the article. I understand the concerns about promotional tone. My goal was to provide useful, neutral information on the topic, but I see it needs refinement. I plan to consolidate content where appropriate and remove any promotional language to better fit Wikipedia’s standards. I’m committed to improving the article and welcome any further guidance you have. Jackshaffer (talk) 21:05, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi PacificDepths, thank you for the feedback. I want to clarify that this article wasn’t created for promotional purposes. It’s actually my first attempt at contributing to Wikipedia, and I now see how the tone and sourcing may have come across as too close to the subject.
- I’m currently reviewing the article and will be making edits to improve neutrality, ensure reliable third-party sourcing, and address any redundancy with related topics. My intent was to document what I believed to be notable advancements in litter box technology, not to advertise.
- I appreciate your input and will do my best to improve the article accordingly.

- Hello again. I have just put my COI disclosure on my talk page. Thank you (and everyone else on this page) for helping me. I hope to continue writing and editing, through the AfC, of course. Jackshaffer (talk) 17:26, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

- Delete Blatant advertising, and besides the reasons already covered above, the sourcing is beyond awful as citations are entirely primary and promotional. Cats.com alone is cited a whopping seven times. 💥Casualty • Hop along. • 08:13, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
