I propose merging this into an as-yet-unidentified article about Go competitions.
Background: This page was a dated prod. The article does not cite any true third-party sources to indicate notability, although it does have links to listings on the websites of other Go clubs. I removed the prod and brought this here because I think that basic information from the article should be incorporated into some other article about Go competitions, but I can't figure out where that would be. Also, there is an ongoing AfD regarding the related page Boston Open, which would be complicated by the deletion of this article. Orlady (talk) 00:01, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete lacks reliable third party sources. Feels a little like an advertisement. I'd support a merge into a future article about all competitions. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 11:02, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak keep sources seems to indicate atleast some notability about the event itself.--MarkusBJoke (talk) 11:31, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply How is that? There references are either their own web site or the US GO website. The only independent coverage claimed it the World Journal and it is unclear what this paper is, or what its reporting standars are. -- Whpq (talk) 16:45, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - no coverage in independent sources. -- Whpq (talk) 16:45, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
