No assertion of notability per WP:AUTHOR; no significant coverage online from WP:Reliable sources; no ISBNs available for her books, so I assume they're self-published. Proposed deletion contested by creator: see article's talk page, but references are needed to support vague claims of awards, television appearances, academic journals, etc. Filing Flunky (talk) 13:08, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete I don't think this poet meets our notability criteria, as I can't find any independent reviews of her works, no entry at G-books or WorldCat or elsewhere. The "Matlock Poetry Society Stanza" doesn't seem to exist and the "International Poetry Award" is a bit vague definition. The claims in our article are unverifiable by reliable sources. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 13:33, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment The citation given for "International Poetry Award (Bronze) in 2004" is to this page on WebSpawner.com ("Free webpages fast!") which was last updated (and, I would hazard, created) on 05 December 2011 at 15:06:27 GMT. --gråb whåt you cån (talk) 20:17, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete all I can find is blogs. No evidence of Notability. Chiswick Chap (talk) 20:46, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: Non-notable and the reference to the award is a self-published webpage. SL93 (talk) 20:47, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete No evidence of notability. Although, on Talk:C.L. Washbrook, editor Temple Franklin denies being Clare Washbrook, I note that the YouTube link supposed to support the claim that the subject appeared in Balderdash and Piffle states "Uploaded by CLWashbrook on 5 Dec 2011". --gråb whåt you cån (talk) 21:15, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- The edit history also reveals a great deal of edit-warring, and possible sockpuppetry. One new editor has just been blocked for repeatedly removing the AFD tag. Filing Flunky (talk) 21:23, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- This is rapidly looking like a SNOW DELETE, isn't it? Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:51, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
