This article does not seem to be sufficiently notable; being visited by a few politicians is not sufficient. The first reference is to the shop's own home page which suggests an element of self-promotion. Twiceuponatime (talk) 08:04, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

• Keep or Merge to South Shields. Normally I'm sceptical of awards I've never heard of, but, looking at GNews, it looks like the local papers made a very big thing out of this. Not sure if anything can be written beyond what's already in the stub, but this definitely warrants a home somewhere. Chris Neville-Smith (talk) 19:53, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
• Merge to South Shields or the suburb of it where the shop is located. I really do not think that notability can be inherited from the local MP (even if a minister). I am sure they made a lot of having got an award, but fish and chip shops with awards are not exceptional. My local one had one. Peterkingiron (talk) 21:56, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
