Per WP:FORUM. "Cosmic catastrophe" is a descriptor that refers to any form of catastrophe related to space. It is not a "coined term" that refers to this one thought experiment alone. Jurta talk 12:45, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete No indication that I can find that Einstein ever used the term (or "kosmische Katastrophe", for that matter). • Delete It's an interesting question and I wondered if it could usefully be added to another article such as speed of gravity. But so far as I can tell, this thought experiment only asks "what is the speed of gravity?" rather than answering it. Also agree with the nominator that I can't find this thought experiment being referred to as cosmic catastrophe elsewhere. --Mgp28 (talk) 17:41, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
