Delete, an article on the history of democracy in what is now Iraq would probably be a neat thing to have, but this is an opinion essay and not an encyclopædia article. To write that article, we'd need to basically start over. Lankiveil ^{(speak to me)} 07:16, 1 March 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Delete. Already have articles with Politics of Iraq and History of Iraq that cover topic. Really not sure if it makes sense to have "Democracy in Asia" template also (perhaps best left to simple government page which would provide more context). mikeman67 (talk) 20:48, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Userfy for now. I have no problems with the concept of this article, but it needs a lot more editing work to clarify its scope and for inline citations. On the other hand, it is not so awful as to be destroyed. Bearian (talk) 20:49, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
