There is a notable subject in Dilution of precision (navigation) but this "algorithmic trick" is not independently notable. The page is entirely unsourced and a notability template that has been unaddressed for years has just been removed without explanation. It claims to be used in hidden line removal, but that page has nothing on this. If there is anything to say, it should be said on that page. However there is nothing mergeable here because there is nothing verifiable. Redirect is certainly an acceptable WP:ATD but deletion may be preferred to allow Dilution of precision (navigation) to be moved over the disambiguation at Dilution of precision as the primary topic (as indicated in my WP:BEFORE). Although, in fact, redirect to hidden line removal would not prevent that, so not opposed to that ATD. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 06:40, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
