It's a dictionary definition. Counter to the cleanup tag, it looks like it's already been transwikied. If we delete this, we can make way for the disambiguation page to be the primary topic. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:02, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- Delete and replace with disambig page. There are two question to be answered affirmatively if the article is to be kept: (1) if eldritch is a distinct concept from anything else similar (the uncanny, Lovecraftian horror, etc) and (2) if it is distinct, whether that distinct concept is notable. As far as I can tell "eldritch" is just a poetic word for weird/strange/uncanny/horrifying that is particularly closely linked with Lovecraftian horror, and hence it's not really a distinct concept. There's almost a case for redirecting to Lovecraftian/Lovecraft, but a stronger case for moving the disambiguation page here. --Colapeninsula (talk) 13:11, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
