A single youth programme in a single small town. Sorry, but not notable. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:57, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Some information from this article might be suitable for a Merge, but only a tiny fraction of it. ~Excesses~ (talk) 13:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Agree with User:Excesses. Some mention should probably be put into Hernando County Sheriff's Office, but the lack of third-party sources severly limits this article. Jim Miller See me | Touch me 19:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak Keep – I would typically say merge to Learning for Life or Boy Scouts of America. However, the reason for the Keep opinion is based on two rationales. The first, I believe the organization, on its own merit, does qualify, if just barely, under current notability standards based on the references as shown here [1], to have its own article. Second, as I mentioned above, a merge/redirect would also be appropriate. On the other hand, this particular piece Explorer Post 409 gives more in-depth information than would normally be given as part of another article in a subheading section. In other words, the amount of information and detail given would be more appropriate as a standalone piece rather than just a short subheading in another article. Thanks. - Strongest possible delete. Per WP:CLUB, it is virtually impossible for an individual Explorer post to be notable enough for a Wikipedia article. ("Individual chapters of national and international organizations are usually not notable enough to warrant a separate article unless sufficient notability is established through reliable sources that extend beyond the organization's local area.") The fact that the organization occasionally gets a couple of paragraphs in the "club and organization activities" column of the local newspaper does not make it notable. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:40, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
