- Strong keep.
I've long been planning to expand and improve this article. I guess now is the time. Stay tuned. Wasted Time R (talk) 22:34, 22 October 2008 (UTC)The article has been expanded, and citing has been extensively added. The tour's notability is now established: It was the first headlining tour for the Dixie Chicks, but already took place in arenas, due to their strategy of building a broad base of appeal and an innovative approach they took to concert promotional arrangements and marketing of the tour. It was the second-highest grossing country tour of 2000 and the sixth-highest of any genre. It was nominated for the most important Pollstar award and won another one. And it had a strong cultural effect, "making the Dixie Chicks a pop-cultural phenomenon" in the words of one source and bringing in a cross-generational audience. There's more work to be done on the article, especially in describing the show, but for all these reasons just given, the Fly Tour is definitely notable and the article should be kept.
