Wikipedia is not a newspaper. This article was nominated for merger into a larger context article about the 2011-2012 Syrian uprising, but several sub-articles exist about that conflict, and no suitable merge target can be found. Merge & redirect to 2011-2012 Syrian uprising. Subject does not appear to be notable per WP:GNG or WP:EVENT; as subject appears to be related to 2011-2012 Syrian uprising it's content can be merged there and a redirect left in its former namespace. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 20:52, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
