The only claim of notability that this article meets is #2 in WP:NMUSIC which is itself under discussion. This artist is lacking significant coverage in 3rd party sources. The Billboard article referenced in the article mentions the artist but is primarily focused on Atlantic, the distribution company here. The other reference is a directory entry on the one album that charted. Even his hometown Miami Herald has only a single brief article on him. No other Google web, news or book hits that aren't links to sales sites.
