Textbook example of a WP:COATRACK article. This claims to be about the writer Joe Quinn, but it is really about a controversy involving the British University and College Union in 2008. Quinn himself does not appear to be notable; if he is, it is only of the WP:BLP1E kind, and according to that guideline the article should be rewritten to focus on the event rather than the person. This should therefore either be moved to something like 2008 University and College Union controversy, or better yet, as this appears to be a brief news story of little lasting significance, deleted entirely. - Delete per WP:BLP1E and WP:NOTNEWS. The nom sums it up well. Tim Song (talk) 04:09, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, coatrack articles are never appropriate, and if we removed the coatrack bits, this guy doesn't appear to have any significance (let alone notability) aside from the BLP1E. Nyttend (talk) 14:56, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
