- It doesn't help that a quick search reveals that the literature, mostly auction catalogues and not reference works, in fact calls them key date coins, which makes a bit more sense, as a key date is simply any date that is "key" in some way. Uncle G (talk) 19:13, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
