Yet another article that's effectively just a campaign brochure for an as-yet-unelected candidate in a Canadian election, who has no properly sourced indication of notability that would meet WP:POLITICIAN. As usual, he can have an article if he wins, but is not entitled to use Wikipedia as a campaign tool in the meantime. Delete. Bearcat (talk) 23:00, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Agree, non notable as yet, as and when elected becomes a different matter. Fails WP:POLITICIAN. Paste Let’s have a chat. 06:03, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete At this point in time, Cardinal does not meet any of the criteria at WP:POLITICIAN. Candidacy for office is not enough to guarantee notability. A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 19:57, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete He wasn't notable except for the election, and he lost the election [1]. --MelanieN (talk) 00:44, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
