MFC 32 (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log)

Fails WP:MMAEVENT, WP:EVENT and WP:SPORTSEVENT, the coverage that this "event" received was totally routine in nature (consisting of the event announcement, who is going to take part, and the results) the article does not attempt to demonstrate the event's lasting effect and show that the duration of coverage lasted beyond the end of the event. • Delete or Redirect to List of MFC events or similar article. As the nom has explained, this article contains only WP:ROUTINE coverage of a WP:SPORTSEVENT that lacks well sourced prose. The article also only cites Maximum Fighting (the promoter of the event) and Sherdog.com and therefore lacks WP:DIVERSE sources. --TreyGeek (talk) 02:34, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Merge into 2012 in mixed martial arts events If the significant aspects of this event are not already merged at the time of closing I'd like to request userfication to User:TreyGeek/MFC 32 so that I can have time to properly add any important or significant information to 2012 in mixed martial arts events. --TreyGeek (talk) 05:13, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete There's nothing to show this event has the significant long-lasting impact required by WP:EVENT. Indeed, it fails WP:ROUTINE because it's just reporting results. Astudent0 (talk) 17:30, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Subject fails WP:SPORTSEVENT and WP:ROUTINE. Mdtemp (talk) 21:52, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and improve or merge per User:TreyGeek. I do not trust the nomination due to WP:TEND edits made by that account elsewhereand the deletes otherwise are coming from single-purpose accounts whose entire edit history consists of vote-stacking to delete MMA related articles. I am not convinced this article is a WP:HOAX, so per WP:PRESERVE, the content seems salvageable insome manner or other. --Spyder Grove (talk) 13:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC) Note: Blocked Sock (see here).[reply]
  • Delete or very selectively merge to 2012 in mixed martial arts events. Coverage appears far too trivial to justify its own article. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 00:04, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
