- Delete I have found this: "The guys from Rappahannock River Oysters have twisted the term to create “merroir”", which backs up my research finding that it is a term associated only with this company/restaurant. The one reference I could get into isn't what I would describe as an RS, and the other requires Flash (not on this machine) without the option to enter quietly. Not a good idea for a website, but as it's apparently the site of the originator of the term, it doesn't really matter for this matter. I've deleted the other copy of the article, the also mis-spelt Merior. If this survives, it'll have to be moved to the correct spelling. Not worth doing until the decision's made... - Leaning delete - this article from Los Angeles Magazine discusses the term "merroir", but the definition of the term may possibly be original research of the person who provides explanation in the article. If other reliable sources that address this topic significantly are found, this !vote can change. After some searches, I haven't found any at this time.
