No evidence of any notability. Not supported by any references except a blog. No evidence that it is accredited in any way. Although higher institutes of learning are usually deemed inherently notable, private colleges without certification are not necessarily included as it is often difficult to distinguish the fake degree factories from genuine educational institutes. DeleteKeep I found this, which is quite interesting. It rather proves that it is not accredited and tried to fake that it was. But other than that one news article, I can't find anything more on it that would give it notability under the WP:GNG. It doesn't help that there are several other department and universities that have longer names that include "National Institute of Science and Technology" in them. But I checked them all and they don't appear to be about this university. SilverserenC 21:53, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Tito Dutta's news source below convinced me otherwise on the notability of the topic. I didn't know that Google doesn't properly index Indian news articles. SilverserenC 23:54, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep This institute was in existence since 1996 and recognised by Biju Patnaik University of Technology (See item 61). Even if this has been dereognised or under such process, this can be kept for being a institute of higher education for historical reference. Amartyabag TALK2ME 04:14, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: Multiple media coverages. The faking allegations etc have been covered by multiple newspapers too! In addition, seconding Amartyabag's comment! --Tito Dutta (contact) 22:27, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
