AfDs for this article:
- Obrad Zelić (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log) • Afd statistics
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
Declined speedy (by me) on grounds of recreation of deleted article (WP:Articles for deletion/Obrad Zelić). Although that is true, that AfD was three years ago, and there have been some (though not particularly significant, as far as I can tell) changes made to the article. More important is that there was some support for keeping the article at that time, and the subject may have become more notable in the intervening years - for example, Google Scholar throws up 17 articles dated 2008 and later. —SMALLJIM 21:43, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. GS cites are 15, 13, 10, 5, 5, 4, 2, 1. Would not pass WP:Prof#C1 on that. Xxanthippe (talk) 08:21, 22 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]
- Weak Delete Xxan notes that there is no obvious pass of WP:PROF. The awards don't seem to be notable, and there is no assertion of anything convincingly notable in the research. Weak, because someone who knows the country might be able to get some more information. RayTalk 15:31, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: The BULLETIN OF THE SERBIAN MEDICAL SOCIETY JUN-JUL 2009. page 2 ISSN: 1451-2130 lists him as having been awarded The Serbian Medical Society's Lifetime Achievement Award (Награда за животно дело). Also this source Ministry of Health of Serbia indicates he is "President of the Association of Dentists of Serbia, Prof. Obrad Zelic" ( је на свечаном отварању председник конгреса и Удружења стоматолога Србије, проф.др Обрад Зелић. ...). and this and other sources indcating the same and noting he "Opened the first International Congress of Dentists of Serbia"... which sound like they might indicate a very high degree of notability in his profession in his country.
