The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the article below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the article's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page.

The result was no consensus due to lack of participation. There is therefore no prejudice against speedy renomination. Stifle (talk) 14:22, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Fails WP:MUSICBIO in all 12 categories. No charted songs, no gold records, no released albums, one album projected for release this year (WP:CRYSTAL), most of the sources are blogs / iTunes / etc, and therefore not WP:RS. (GregJackP (talk) 22:45, 26 March 2010 (UTC))[reply]
  • Note: This debate has been included in the list of Bands and musicians-related deletion discussions. -- • Gene93k (talk) 01:04, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Recommend delete. Not yet notable. Maybe he should have an article if his upcoming release brings him notability, but not now. Cullen328 (talk) 01:14, 27 March 2010 (U

He is actually becoming a really promient artist. His newest EP Record is putting him near the top of R&B Charts.

  • Comment - first, please sign your posts by using ~~~~. Second, do you have any reliable source to confirm that. (GregJackP (talk) 13:17, 27 March 2010 (UTC))[reply]
  • Comment - see: http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.10825/title.outasight-talks-about-signing-to-warner-asylum-further-ep surely being signed with Warner Bros displays relevance (note I'm not the person who posted the above comment, I just came across this page and that thought it's being deleted without due consideration) EDIT: I also came across this http://music.songstuff.com/charts/randb_album_chart, which, when I last checked it at 16:55GMT on the 27th of March, displays Outasight's further EP as being at number 9 on the US iTunes R&B album chart--82.32.195.84 (talk) 16:41, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - This article now has enough credible sources, and the artist certainly has enough notability to be featured on Wikipedia. After all, he is signed to Warner, one of the biggest record labels in the US. There is more information and citations from sources other than blogs, and think that this article should no longer be considered for deletion. EDIT: He has also posted on his twitter a screenshot of the Further EP at number 5 on the iTunes rop R&B albums charts. I can not find what wikipedia considers a "Credible" source for this information, but here is the link to his twitter post about it- http://twitpic.com/1aofm3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.116.153.5 (talk) 16:00, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • This AfD nomination was incomplete (missing step 3). It is listed now. DumbBOT (talk) 14:22, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The sources currently in the article aren't enough but more than adequate further coverage found including Riverfront Times, Staff review from absolutepunk.net, Wall Street Journal (yes it's a blog, but an official WSJ one written by WSJ staff), Spinner. --Michig (talk) 18:41, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
