- Speedy keep Absolutely notable organization with lasting and profound effects on the politics and history of Melanesia. Even for the short time it was in operation, and the fact that it was a change of the guard from the New Zealand Truce Monitoring Group (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL), it got a large amount of significant press coverage about its constituency and operations. And I don't want to see any naysayers lining up to say that the News sources are about other conflicts or countries; more than half of the nearly 100 international news stories are about the Bougainville group, with the rest being split between Sierra Leone, Ghana and Liberia. Same goes for Google Books. Because it is an international peace and ceasefire organization, it even has a good deal of Scholar citations, which is pretty rare for organizations. I will answer no further questions of notability or verifiability, and I ask that the nomination be speedily kept; incompetent nominations and votes such as these must not be rewarded, and ideally they should not be tolerated. Furthermore, Wikipedia's coverage of Melanesia is atrociously poor, and further erosion is unacceptable. Anarchangel (talk) 08:08, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
