Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Podcasting in India

The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the article below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the article's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page.

The result was keep‎. The arguments for deletion or merge are not grounded in policies and guidelines supporting such actions for this circumstance. In and of themselves, promotional content and a history of low-quality edits are surmountable problems outside the remit of AfD. Among those arguing on the merits pertaining to sources and (the spirit of) notability guidelines, I see a consensus to keep this article. This page just consists of a paragraph about the size of the podcasting market in India, and then 2 sentences that read as promotional. This content should be either be removed or merged into the general Podcasting article along with other information comparing the size of the podcasting market globally. Relisting comment: Relisting to confirm consensus. This article can't be merged to Podcasting as that page is a Redirect (please check next time before suggesting) so would a merge to Podcast be acceptable? Or are some of these comments asking for a Keep?

Keep, but improve. There seem to be a lot of valuable sources out there, and India is a huge market. Like this one, as an example... Doctorstrange617 (talk) 18:25, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
