The result was keep. The arguments for deletion or merge are not grounded in policies and guidelines supporting such actions for this circumstance. In and of themselves, promotional content and a history of low-quality edits are surmountable problems outside the remit of AfD. Among those arguing on the merits pertaining to sources and (the spirit of) notability guidelines, I see a consensus to keep this article. This page just consists of a paragraph about the size of the podcasting market in India, and then 2 sentences that read as promotional. This content should be either be removed or merged into the general Podcasting article along with other information comparing the size of the podcasting market globally. - Delete Unimproved circa 2005, and the only 'improvements' are random 'sources' as 'facts' which just act as WP:PROMO for irrelevant business podcast companies. Nathannah • 📮 22:46, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

- Question - What is the argument for deletion here? Is it just that the article is short and hasn't had non-promotional edits in a while? Promo can be removed, but I'm a little confused, since the topic isn't inherently promotional, what the reason for deletion is? - Ike Lek (talk) 19:44, 29 June 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: I'm also unclear what the rationale here is for deletion. An article being short is not a valid rationale for deletion and promotional content can be cleaned up or trimmed out. There is also no rush to improve an article so I'm not sure why it matters that it hasn't had much improvement over the years. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:05, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: Relisting to confirm consensus. This article can't be merged to Podcasting as that page is a Redirect (please check next time before suggesting) so would a merge to Podcast be acceptable? Or are some of these comments asking for a Keep?

- Keep - I'd have to say keep at this point, as I don't understand what the argument for deletion is. – Ike Lek (talk) 21:29, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Keep it's unclear what the argument for deletion is. TipsyElephant (talk) 16:48, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- • Keep, but improve. There seem to be a lot of valuable sources out there, and India is a huge market. Like this one, as an example... Doctorstrange617 (talk) 18:25, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Keep - it's got significant coverage and I don't see a reason to delete. The New York Times recently had an article about podcasters spreading misinformation about the recent four-day war between India and Pakistan - scroll down to read the section on Misinformation.
