Mid-ranking officer who received a single Distinguished Service Cross, a second-level award, and a Silver Star, a third-level award. No other claim to fame. Fails WP:SOLDIER and every other standard. -- Necrothesp (talk) 20:47, 19 July 2016 (UTC)

- Delete per nom for failing SOLDIER. Also, this obituary says he was only nominated for the DSC. Contrary to the unlinked reference in the article, I can't find him in militarytimes.com, which tends to support his just being nominated. Clarityfiend (talk) 06:49, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- Delete -- fails GNG. K.e.coffman (talk) 04:11, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
- Delete as nowhere near convincing for independent notability. SwisterTwister talk 05:14, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- Delete - I'm thankful for his service, but he's really just a run of the mill soldier. Bearian (talk) 19:29, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
