- Comment. She appears to be an award winning poet and I see published reviews of her books. However I'm not an expert on poetry: perhaps the nominator can expand on their rationale? pburka (talk) 16:10, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
- Two published interviews with her. One poetry award from a publisher (doesn't seem to be a notable/significant award). I don't think this is sufficient evidence of "regarded as an important figure" as per the notability guidelines for a writer. MurielMary (talk) 10:52, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- The reviews from the L.A. Review of Books and University of Arizona establish notability as an author. At least her books are notable, and I'd rather have one article about the author than one for each notable work. I'm a keep. pburka (talk) 15:06, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

- Keep per WP:BEFORE and WP:CREATIVE. Searches of Google and social media show that her poems are frequently quoted. There are already three substantial reviews from reliable sources in the article. Bearian (talk) 22:33, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
