I approved this from AfC myself on the basis that it's not too spammy, and presumably Springer meets WP:PROF due to his title as distinguised professor. However, the source for this, Weekly Science, seems like a shaky source. Springers CV doesn't list him as a distinguished professor, nor does the website of his institution. Weekly Science's "articles" section meanwhile contains one single article, and that article is the only source for the title of distinguished professor. Looking at the sources, I don't think this academic meets the general notability guideline. His t index is fairly low too. All in all, I don't think we should have an article on Springer anymore.   • Delete, I spent quite some time looking for reliable third-party references on Springer in German or English and came up empty-handed. The "distinguished Professor" reference seems to be flat-out wrong, and I see no indication that it meets our standards of reliability. Huon (talk) 22:20, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
